So there hasnt been a game to movie done GREAT yet, although I owuld say Silent Hill is THE best so far...but which ones do YOU think would make good "attempts" at movies?

So far, Onimusha and Castlevania are slated to come out, and God Of War has its script done and are looking to cast very soon. Devil May Cry is also in the works and is looking at a 2010 release. Also, Zelda seems to be making its way to the big screen in 2008 as well.

What else would you like to see?

Ona side note, Clash Of The Titans is being remade (FINALLY) and is looking at a release in 2009.

A grand theft auto movie would be sick, Gears of War, Contra, and after playing BioShock, that would make a clean ass movie... Killzone, Halo, i heard there makin one, but wont be out for a while

I guess Tekken is in the works as well.

I know there is already a Manhunt movie out, but i would love to see the game adapted to a film...the story was dope!

Also, if they could make Ninja Gaiden work without ib being too corny...

Halo if it didnt get scrapped

the best one would prolly be condemned that game is fucked up and such a good story line for a movie, u have to find a serial kille rthats killing serial killers the same way they kill ppl. shits nice but the game doesnt last too long which is why it would make a nasty movie IMO

gears of war is supposed to be made into a movie...do some google research, theres some info on its development

"On March 20, 2007, it was announced that New Line Cinema had purchased the rights to make a Gears of War film, with Stuart Beattie writing the script along with Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey, who will be producing it. The film is scheduled to be released in 2009.[58] Producer Wyck Godfrey said of the film adaptation, "I'm not a gamer, but what blew me away about Gears was how it captures the mythology of a war mission and how high the stakes are."[59] It has been announced in the May 2007 issue of Game Informer that Cliff Bleszinski (lead designer of the game) will be the executive producer of the film.[citation needed] On August 3, 2007, AICN.com reported that Len Wiseman was to direct the movie adaption of Gears of War.[citation needed]"

I have to agree with this too. They went too far off the path. They mixed shit up too much too.

I would say dead rising, but that is an exact ripoff of a movie so that is out. i am not a big fan of video game adaptions because everyone fucks them up too much.

Its hard for games to movies to be exact becuase film makers need to find away to appeal to the masses. This usually means adding a side story, like love for instance. Silent Hill was mostly right, but they aded a few elements from each one to spice it up. There is a Silent Hill 2 on the way and im not sure what they are going to do with that one.
