Anyways, UW is the superior college and has the best athletic department in the state of Washington, so its ok. Im not mad.

It's coo..At least you know you're a hater...you guys have the BIGGEST recruiting advantage out of all the schools in WA, but for some reason you guys are still coming in last in Football and are getting beat in basketball by your "rivals"...With all that powerhouse talk, you guys should be killing us...
I wouldnt even trip if you would just give credit to where credit is due...I guess that's soo hard...ya'll beat us fair and square in football this past season...I could argue that you guys couldnt move the ball and had a couple of big plays, but what would be the point in that? At the end of the day, you guys still won(congrats on that)...with all the advantages you guys have over the rest of the schools in WA, you guys arent living up to your expectations..
If we do win in basketball against you guys this year(which is definitely possible), dont worrry you wont see me in here gloating about it..If we do win are you going to say "at least we have a men's rowing team?"..just wondering...:dead:

Since when is the UW mens b-ball team a "powerhouse"?When weas that mentioned?Out of the 12 man roster, UW has 8..yes 8 freshman & sophmores. 1 of which is a McDonalds All-American, so OF COURSE we are gonna be shaky this year. Cmon man, get with the program.

I dont know if you were aware of this, but every since Neuhiesal broke NCAA rules, our program has been under fire and we lost recruits. Now, if you KNEW that, you would know WHY we are "underachiveing".

Fact of the matter is, UW has been the 2nd best football program and 2nd best basketball program in the state the last 10 years. I hate to acknowledge that but it's true.
On any historical level, UW is #1 in both, easy. UW still dominates the all-time series with Gonzaga in basketball as they do with WSU in football (and Oregon for that matter).
So this superiority thing just comes down to how many years you want to consider. Obviously the most important year is the one that's currently going on. But outside of that, just define your historical range and it's pretty cut and dry who's superior to who.

Yep UW fans do sometimes get overly arrogant, and it annoys me. WSU deserves a huge amount of credit because like I said, they've been better at football the last 10 years. I get really disappointed when WSU will bring in some kids from Western WA who the UW might have overlooked for size or "measurable" reasons while the Dawgs go down to Southern Cali and get these pussies, while over at WSU some of them local guys got chips on their shoulder and straight ball for four years. Marcus Trufant & Rien Long are the first two that come to mind when I think of this, b/c obviously WSU will have the recruiting advantage with some of the kids from Eastern WA like Will Derting.
