lets say your already in the military.. can you tell the government to fuck off.. and you quit.. or do you go to jail or somethin'?
you can file as a conscientous objector, and perhaps get discharged, but you still have to do what the military tells you to do up until that point you get discharged. Another thing you can do, is forcibly get yourself discharged by misconduct, or abusing illicit drugs, etc.. those will fuck up your life though, because you're most likely getting a less than honorable which is the same as having a felony on your record when it comes to seeking employment.

THANK GOD they are attempting to take over the middle east.
i know first hand that the arabs will NEVER give in, especially if the US declares them and their whole state as enemies.

im positive each muslim will have no problem what so ever taking their own lives to get one of theirs.

even if the muslims eventually decline and are losing, they will not stand by, but be sure to fuck up whatever they can as much at they can.

yeah, sad, we arent gonna be leavin in the near future. afghanistan was a door for iraq and iraq is now the door to iran. is it just me, or do you see more and more subtle comments and reports in the news about iran, like slowly bringing them to light, as in trying to get us to hate them. during the course of this iraq thing, first the media reports iran opposes us, then iran doesnt follow the sanctions we placed on them, and then iran has nuclear capability, and now iran could be supplying iraq "insurgents" with weapons... Ive been thinking that they are just trying to condition us into being ok if we went to iran next...
just been thinking.

And the Dems. Their positioning is clever, but i think they need more if they want the next presidency.

Ive also been thinking that iraq and iran are supposed to be the oldest known civilizations, and iraq has been fueding within itself forever, the shiites and sunnis and kurds, and they will go on fueding forever, we wont do any bit of good over there.

its also a shame that our soldiers have to be caught up in all this. as long as they are there they need funding though, at least to protect themselves, thats our people over there, whether the be over there for good or bad reasons.

The US Senate has voted to approve a bill which requires US troops to be withdrawn from Iraq within 11 months.

It follows a vote in the US House of Representatives which makes further funding of the war in Iraq conditional on a timetable for a US troop pullout.

what do you think will happen when we leave? widepsread peace?hahahahaha. jaded.
This will happen no matter "when" we leave. No realistic military strategist or expert actually believes that staying longer is going to bring peace, safety, or security for Iraq.

What this is about is George Bush's legacy. He is trying to pass on the mantle of responsibility to the next American president so that he will be able to say "its not just my war".
