Depends actually, yes and no in my opinion. For a long time Quiznos used top of the line ingredients, had huge sandwiches, and were pretty top of the line for a fast food sandwich joint. Then the chain owners complained they were paying too much for quality ingredients and that it was eating into their profits, the franchise switched to cheaper quality and less expensive ingredients, their above average sandwiches became like all the others, people stopped going, and then went bankrupt a few years after. Sure backfired on those complaining lol.
That's not to say they were amazing or anything but from they were pretty good through the late 90s when all that happened.
Pot Belly is the best fast food sandwich chain by far. All that bored rambling aside 9 out of 10 mom and pop/local sandwich shops shit on all of them.
