Id rather be able to afford better health care. i take the stance of getting rid of taxes so I can afford it, not glossing over our economic problems, that would be acquiescing to the current problem of not being able to afford it in the first place..

Anyone who supports that shit is either BROKE or STUPID.

Taxes are already super fucking high for people who aren't rich, why the FUCK would anyone want taxes to go up again? Yeah, let's just provide health care for everyone so we can end up like fucking CANADA and you can then WAIT YOUR ASS IN LINE FOR ONE YEAR to get anything fucking done.

Universal health care is a FUCKING PIPE DREAM that Hillary is using to get poor people's votes because she knows they need health care and they'll love her for saying she'll do it. Even though she won't get elected.

Ceza--I have my own health insurance that I PAY....it's about $175 with a $500 deductable (I pay everything up to $500--past that insurance kicks in). I'm not saying that's cheap...but that's also not the only insurance plan out there. You should really look into it, rather than waiting for some government agency to tell you that instead of paying out of pocket, they're going to tax you half your income, but you'll get health insurance.

So you sound a lot like a little rich boy calling poor people they.

On topic:

Most National Universal Health Care programs are jeopardized because of governmental corruption. The objective is sound and achievable and it is not fair to undermine the principal as failure bound based on examples of current foreign programs which are not in practice complying with their design. Sweden has an excellent universal healthcare program btw. People say BUT DOCTORS WILL LEAVE MERICA! Wrong. No they won't what will happen is individuals driven by greed will not be drawn to medicine which is in my opinion an excellent thing (The AMA has ruined american medicine). This would give "they aka the disenfranchised" more of a chance to contribute as wealth is by no means a measure of mental ability.

Did you see what I said? I PAY for my fucking insurance. The money comes from MY pocket. Rich boy my ass......I'm damn near broke--but I'd like to have insurance. It's just a fucking choice I made....people have different priorities.

I don't want to pay fucking taxes for people who can't get insurance. Taxes are fucking high enough as it is...and Hillary wants to raise taxes (that's the only way the health care shit will work)? FUCK THAT.

Tax the FUCK out of people who make $250K+.......that's cool with me, but taxing people who dont' make shit is fucking ridiculous...BUT....why should people who have money pay for those who don't?

There is a balance here, some people dont' have shit because they weren't given a chance...but some people had more than 5 chances and are just complete FUCKWADS and dont' deserve shit.

Helping people that don't deserve help is fucking stupid. And it's going to come down to the American tax payers to do all that.

I know both sides do the spectrum, TRUST THAT. Well, you can if you want to, but it's the truth.

Universal health care is a nice idea. But.....HOW THE FUCK ARE YOU GONNA SAY CORRUPTION AND AMERICA IN THE SAME SENTENCE AND NOT HAVE THAT SENTENCE'S MEANING BE THAT AMERICA IS CORRUPT AND SO IS THE ENTIRE FUCKING SYSTEM?

Are you joking me? Do you really believe what these people tell you? If you do, and you think that voting WILL get you somewhere, I feel VERY sorry for you. The only real difference you'll make if in local/state elections.

You do know about the Electoral College right? There's not ONE system in this country that runs well. So how the FUCK is a UNIVERSAL health care system going to help EVERYONE? The reason health care is able to do what it does......IS BECAUSE THEY DON'T HAVE TO PROVIDE SHIT FOR 500 MILLION PEOPLE.

Call me a dick and say I don't support it or whatever. I dont' really care. Hillary is a stupid whore and that health care shit IS a pipe dream. With all the corruption in the US gov't, there is no fucking way that the health care system would not be flawed in at least 5 areas. ALTHOUGH........the gov't would NEVER tell you that the universal health care system was FUCKED UP after people paid taxes for it and voted for Hillary......they'd just tell us it's like every other fucking institution in this country that's flawed--we dont' have enough money, not enough people, some lame ass gov't bullshit excuse.

If people are going to be paying into a massive system like that, it better be fucking PERFECT. Or it's a waste of money.

that's how my shit is....i pay a co-pay when i go in, and i pay when i go to the dentist...last time i was at the dr i paid like $200 for lab work and some other shit. but really, making the system universal when it's already fucked up the way it is, isn't going to make it better....

i'm all for helping people, and making sure things are equal....but it would have to be pretty fucking equal for things to not get fucked up...

Ron Paul certainly doesn't support it!!

and for the record I disagree 100% with I AM. Nearly 50 million people are without healthcare insurance, and millions others have absolute shit coverage. They are not stupid, but broke, yes. Most people these days live paycheck to paycheck, including myself, and simply cannot afford it. This is a side effect of a dysfunctional society, not an effect of stupidity amongst the people. Plus, millions of people have healthcare insurance but still have to pay outrageous amounts of money that there plan does not cover, which leads them to even more financial debt, bankruptcy, etc.

Healthcare should be a universal right, just like housing and food. It should not be a privilege to those wealthy enough to buy it, or fortunate enough that their employers provide good healthcare for them.

Medical professionals are assholes exactly because we don't have a socialist health care system. It promotes leaving people to die because they aren't able to afford rudementary health services. I am pro 'universal health system" even if taxes must be raised.

I still dont understand how some of you can say you dont trust politicians and say our government can't hold itself accountable, but in the same breath your all for them having their hands even MORE so into your lives.. with socialized healthcare, your going to have even more 'walter reed' incidents.

Health care or health insurance? Cause there's a difference. And you can disagree all you want. I live paycheck to paycheck--some people just have different priorities.

...and the winner is.

my opinion, im against it, cause i have it. most people without it, of course want someone else to pay for it. what does it cost them but the time to vote and complain about how its their "right" to have someone else support them cause they cant take care of them fuckin selves or their own kids? most people who pay for their own shit dont want to have to pay for other people to have it. almost everyone can afford it, the problem is they choose to do other shit with their money. like I AM said, its about priorities. oustanding social programs breed stupid people and give poor people further incentive to have mass kids, at least less negative incentive. i dont support either of those. "i cant afford it". what are you really saying? you cant afford to work for it? you cant afford to give up your 4 hours on the siccness a day habit? you cant give up buying fresh jordans and buying 30$ drinks at clubs? but like i said, if all you gotta do is bitch for a hand out to get one, then i dont blame you at all.

MY OPINION, we don't need Insurance Companies..They take X amount of money off top for what? To make sure you get less than adequate care? The system now is a joke..I don't say give everyone free healthcare...but at least everyone who does pay taxes has a SS # etc. should have some healthcare available to him or her as a minimum benefit of LIFE!
