You ever hear Ice-T explain the LA riots? He compared it to a prison riot. A person so mad at the conditions and treatment that they'll burn their own matress, they'll destroy whatever belongingss they may own because they are so angry and so fed up they want everyone to know about it.
Same thing here. The riots aren't in the name of this guy who was killed, no man it's far deeper than that. Rodney King wasn't the first and only black man to be beaten in LA it was just the most publicized, same thing here. The anger is deep. It's far deeper than this guys parents saying to stop. Let me ask you a couple of questions. When was the last time you were pulled over because of your skin color? When was the last time you were denied a job because of your skin color? When was the last time a store owner followed you around in a store because of your skin color?
If you're fed up you need to take it to the person who created the situation in the first place. You don't BURN and DESTROY your own infrastructure. Go to the people who did it or who are connected to it, fuck their shit up and then see something get done.
