this is bullshit fuck dana white!!

The UFC’s hand is getting stronger and stronger, as they apparently forced TapouT to back out of their one year, seven-figure sponsorship of Fedor Emelianenko.

To kick-off the partnership between the MMA clothing pioneer and the Russian heavyweight, TapouT created a shirt for Emelinaneko to wear tonight at “Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Werdum.”

“It was our understanding that the T-shirt was in production,” Fedor’s manager Vadim Finkelchstein told Sherdog.com Friday. “However, at the beginning of this week, we were told by our sponsorship representative that Tapout had received a call from [UFCPresident Dana White], which involved him saying that if Fedor signs a T-shirt deal with Tapout, then Tapout would be out of the UFC.”

According to M-1 Global’s director of operations, Evgeni Kogan, TapouT officials had assured them just before they were putting pen to paper that there would be no issues from the UFC.

Unfortunately, there WAS a problem and the deal went up in smoke. The threat of being banned by Octagon brass was too much for TapouT to chance.

“He’s used to these kind of fallouts from our friend Dana White, and to be honest, this didn’t come as a surprise (to him),” Finkelchstein said.

Just to make Emelianenko’s stateside return even more enjoyable, it appears he also lost out on another million-dollar sponsorship with RVCA. The UFC had allegedly threatened to ban that clothing company as well.

You are very cool because you "don't give a fuck". :cheeky:

What makes one a "ufc groupie"? Because someone understands a shrewd business move when he sees it?

more like i seen not necessarily you but how others had acted in the past, folks are so biased towards UFC its not even funny. Of course I know Dana White wants to rule the mma world and doesnt want to see non-ufc fighters getting promoted by such a big brand like Tapout but Fedor is still better then any UFC heavyweight

Maybe all they know is the UFC?

You can't expect everybody to know EVERYTHING about every fighter and org. Especially when one org is in your face EVERY MONTH will events.

That's like calling someone an NBA groupie because they don't know who plays in the D-League.

It's possible Fedor is the best HW in the world, but if he won't test it against the best in the world he shouldn't be ranked #1.

Fedor lost to the #9 ranked hw. If you're "#1" you need to be fighting #2 and winning to maintain your ranking. Not being finished by #9 in the first minute of a fight.

That's the main reason why strikeforce is bullshittin. Fedor is supposed to be the best in the world, why the fuck would he fight Rogers and Werdum? Now Fedor lost to someone who's barely top 10, and they fucked off their whole angle in their HW division.

you make being finished sound like he got dominated was a good submission but lucky at the same time. i agree he should be fighting the best, he is/was suppose to fight Alistair next who is as good or maybe better as any heavyweight out there but what does Fedor owe anyone? hes not in UFC and the blame is as much on Dana White as it is on Fedor cuz before his last attempt at signing Fedor, Dana White had not been to professional

Werdum has dedicated his life to being the shit at BJJ. There's nothing lucky about him submitting anyone on earth that's what that motherfucker does.

IMO when your boss is paying you a number w 6 0s and 2 commas behind it, you can deal w you not liking him or him not liking you. Especially if you know you're going to shit on his roster.

The main stipulation holding back Fedor being in the UFC was co promotion w M1 Global and now SF look like assholes for buying into that.

I hate to break it to you but UFC's heavyweight division is really not better then Strikeforces, they might have more decent fighters but i think even Bret Rogers would tear through most of UFC's fighters.

not professional in the manner of not wanting to give up i believe what was 50% of his company to m-1 global just to sign fedor M-1 fucked everything up
