I thought Silva was gonna go back down to 195 then move back up according to Dana....it's all politics and I believe he will move up because his competition level in none at 195....I just don't wanna see him fight Forest because Forest would get embarrased

so who would move weight classes? gsp is 170 or lighter right? and silva drops to 185 to fight in that class. ive seen almost all of silvas fights in the ufc and i dont see anyone beat'n em. period....made dan henderson look like some nobody....liddell, griffin, rampage,...none of them got what it takes to beat em...jus ask rich franklin who he thinks would beat silva....i see him havin both weight classes on lock for a long time...

you obviously just watch.....Hendo gave Silva a run in the 1st round 2nd round he made mistakes and is cost him the fight so to say hendo looked like a nobody is far fetched and we all know that one quick move can change any fight which silva proves time and time again but I promise he will in no way dominate the light heavies

haha c'mon homie, Silva fights at 185

I don't see Silva beating any of the dominant, stronger LHWs. That being Rampage basically. But I don't see why he couldn't go toe to toe with any of the strikers like Thiago, Chuck or Wandy.

Anyways, according to what the UFC has said, Spider's next 2 opponents will be Okami, then Cote, and I still think Damian Maia could give a really good fight. Then there's Bisping still making moves. If Bisping and Maia both win their next fights I think those two should go at it for the #1 contender after Okami and Cote get their shots.
The UFC's main shtick is building their guys up, which they've done with Spider making it seem like he's cleaned out the middleweights, but there's still guys there that can fight and I'd rather see that over him moving up to 205.

edit- fuck I just read about Okami getting hurt. I guess that means Cote is next in line for a shot, which should be another breeze for Spider.

Bisping hasnt been a Light heavy since he lost to Rashad Evans. 185 division isnt wiped out yet but could be by the end of next year the way Anderson wants to keep fighting.

I agree what shogun said about the whole BJ Penn vs GSP. The difference between the two is GSP is such a great athlete. BJ is just a great fighter and the first fight showed just that, BJ owned him in stand up. the next 2 rounds was a few take downs and a lay n pray. both of them have grown tremendously since then and that fight makes more sense than GSP vs Anderson if it was to happen.
