i remember on MTV's True Life show not too long ago there was an episode on im an MMA fighter or some shit, it had a UFC fighter on there his name was Frankie Edgar, he said for that fight he was gonna make 10k and he said "its enough to get by" In a way its cool.. you get to do what you like, you get paid to beat people up and shit. But the pay could be better, UFC has grown alot but the pay hasnt, its kinda like the salaries havent hit puberty yet.

I agree that a lot of fighters salaries need to be increased but comparing it to boxing is exactly what we don't want. People love MMA and the UFC because it's all about the fights. The sport is pure. It's not corrupted like boxing and isn't all about the bullshit politics and money. If it wasn't for Dana White there would be no UFC and even tho I don't agree with everything he does or says, I respect him for what hes done with helping MMA and the UFC become what it currently is.

^ Thats mostly because there's not really anything else to compare it to on that scale.

I know its apples and oranges, but boxers on Friday Night Fights are making what the top UFC fighters are making, and when the UFC is getting as many if not more PPV buys than boxing per year, people start to question it...but really, what can you compare it to...?

Nothing really. So they either put up or shut up.
I don't think thats true.. I don't think fighters are bringing in over a million dollars for a fight on Friday Night Fights.. Like both Lesnar and Couture did with UFC 91.
