Randleman doesn need to step it up in comp, and your 100 % right, those knees were there for him all through the 1st round. And as soon as he started throwing them the fight was over. His big problem is that he has a weak jaw and is willing to trade punches. As we all saw when he fought Liddell he got caught and the fight was over. I know Liddell is a great grappler in his own right, but Randleman should be taking these guys down and pounding them. Prides rules should be suited well for him.
As for my seats, I was supposed to get a press pass to the event. Zuffa felt that because I was writing for a Boxing website that I wasnt a top priority, so I got jacked. I bought two $60 dollar seats that werent the greatest but we had a large overhead TV right in front of us. So I figured that I didnt have to write a story or anything, so I might as well drink, I shot the beer man a twoomp so that everytime he saw me he would get me two and all I had to do was cut to the front and pay him, so I was wasted by the end of the fights. I kinda regret it, but I got the fight on tape.
As for Silva and Liddell beating Tito. I would say that Tito's best chance would come against Chuck, and I would only give him an outside chance against the Ax Muderer. For him to beat Vanderlai, he would have to trade punches with him and catch him and them jump on it. Vanderlai has been stunned in fights and we all remember his fight against Vitor. Actually I would give Chuck a better chance against Silva than Tito, but thats why they say styles make fights.
