where does Akiyama go from here? Dude has lost a ton of fights in the UFC, but he's literally had the toughest string of fights since his debut that you could possibly have Chris Leben, Bisping, Vitor, now Shields thats a gauntlet. But 4 losses in a row I don't see UFC giving him another fight.

i think that shit was dumbass close..agree shilds striking is weak...but i give him credit for being so persistent with his strikes...yama had it from jump but he just started fallin off mid of rd2,,,i would call that shit a draw ..but if they woulda took a point for the double cage grab than i think shields got it...i think its debatable if they shoulda took a point..i lean more to yes becz it was so close to the end of the fight and very well might have been what stopped shields from submitting..decent fight tho
