As much as everyone praises emilanenko fedor as "God Allmighty" of fighting, hes gonna have minor success in the Octogon. Aint trying to bash him cause hes such a skilled fighter, but Its starting to become clear that Pride fighters arent that much greater than UFC heavyweight fighters. Take Mirko who thinks training inside a cage is a waste of time. That fight with Gabriel Gonzaga is gonna make any crossover fighters realize thats its a whole different ballpark. If Fedor doesnt take that into consideration then hes destined to get his 6'1 frame held up onto the cage and get the life beaten outta him. Mirko had no ground defense in the cage and now hes been exposed.

And another side note. Matt Lindland who is a natural Middleweight had no problems crackin Fedor, in gunz blazing fashion, and was able to take him down with ease but Fedor held onto the ropes which saved him. If a middleweight could do that much damage to him in 1 fight imagine a much more heavier fighter from UFC could do in the Octogon....

Mirko's ground defense has been exposed Prior to his second fight in the Ufc. Have you ever seen Fedor vs Cro cop or Nogueira vs Cro cop? those were all in Pride. And just cause Cro cop lose to Gabriel Gonzaga does not mean Fedor would get crushed by Ufc's heayweight division. Fedor is not Cro cop Cro cop is not Fedor. As for the rope grabing incident well who won the fight? Fedor won. The fight continued regardless of the rope being grabbed by Fedor and for the record I have seen some UFC heayweights grab the cage in their fights that they won like Andrei arlovski vs Maricio Cruz and Tim sylvia vs Ausserio silva. Grabbing the cage fence or ring rope are natural instinct. Im not saying it is fair or right but that it happens in fights at times. There are only two former Pride heavyweights in the Ufc. I would like to see how Mark hunt, Sergei kharitonov, Josh barnett, James thompson, Yoshihiro nakao, Edson drago, Alexander Emelianenko and His brother Fedor test their luck in the UFC.

I think Fedor loses in the UFC also but I think it will be by a cut stoppage if someone manages a good elbow on him. He cuts a lot and I think someone will aim for that.

lol if fedor brings his ass to the octagon his fights will go the same way a few bangs fight gets to the ground he ground and pounds out the win or arm bars that ass.. he is too good at defending on the ground i cant think of one person id pick in a fight to win against fedor.. and as far as stop by cut that fucker fedor kicked cro cops ass the whole fight and took massive punishment and no cut stopped his ass.. lindland got a lucky little bullshit jab in that fedor didnt even feel and he instantly killed that scrub after it happened.. im not even that big of a fedor fan honestly but i see NO ONE and i mean NOT 1 person in UFC with exception of cro cop that has a chance against this guy..

i also find funny that cuz cro cop got knocked out 1 time in ufc now the ufc heavyweight class is something special i remember a month ago everyone in here saying how fedor and cro cop would kill any in ufc and ufc heavyweight class is in so much trouble yada yada yada now its changed?? cuz 1 knock out kills me

Watch any of Fedors fights and tell me he doesn't cut easy. I'm not talking about the Lindland only. Fedors only loss was from an illegal elbow that split him open. Elbows are known to cut more than punches and Fedor can easily get caught with one. I don't think anyone can outwork or outskill him in the UFC much less anywhere else but a cut stoppage is definetely possible.
