Inter Milan confirmed on Wednesday that they did a contract with Honduras nationalteam striker David Suazo. Suazo will transfer to Inter from Cagliari´s team. Season that end up, Suazo was chosen the best foreignplayer of Serie A along with Brazilian Kaka.

In season 2005-06 Suazo did 22 goals in Serie A, what was Cagliari´s team new record.

David Suazo after all to Milan ?
Already as locked kept David Suazo´s transfer from Cagliari to Inter is canceling, as the competion has got another participent Ac Milan.

Milan boss Adriano Gallian has given about 15 million €:s offer. Inter´s offer would been included Robert Acquafrescan and about 10 million €:s.

Milan has said that their maintarget to purchase is still Barcelona´s Samuel Eto, who has said that he would like to stay in Catalonia.
Into Milan has been quoted also Arsenal-striker Thierry Henry.
What I´ve seen David Suazo has been the best striker in Seria A`s small teams, and was it Inter or Milan, anyways the one that will get contract w/ him will be satisfied no doubt.

Alot of rumours now in 'silly season' . In the swedish papers they wrote that Real Madrid will bid 50 million euro for Zlatan Ibramhimovic in Inter. I just read that Iaquinta is going to Juventus for about 12 million euro. And did you guys hear about Obafemi Martins(former Inter Milan) in Newcastle? Three guys with masks went up to his car with guns and just started blasting into the car. Martins didnt get a scratch while his friend was hit in the shoulder and hand. They didnt want to rob us ,they were there to execute us , Martins said. This was in Lagos in his home country Nigeria. Appearantly alot of people are mad at Martins for missing a game for Nigeria recently. Sick shit ..

Hehe , that would be nice if Henry choose Barcelona. From my english team to my spanish ! hehe

Good shit supavillain with the win over Honduras . Who will they face now ?
@TAKIN NO SHORTZ , it was a pretty good game after all . Im dissapointed Barcelona didnt win the title , but at the end they have themself to blame . they were ahead but fucked up a couple of games in a row which put them in that position to begin with. Shouldnt have to rely on other results to win the title in the last game .

Henry in Spain to seal Barca move

Thierry Henry is in Spain to put the finishing touches on his move from Arsenal to Barcelona.

Henry is undergoing a medical and will be presented with his shirt at 1500 BST before being unveiled two hours later.

Barcelona have agreed a four-year deal with 29-year-old Henry and a fee thought to be about £16m with Arsenal.

"It is incredible. I am looking forward to playing in the Camp Nou and helping the team in every way I can," Henry told the Barcelona website.

The most important thing that made me come [here] is the way Barca plays, the fans and the support they give. Without good fans it is difficult to have a good team and vice versa."

This is solely my decision, no-one has forced me to do anything

Thierry Henry

Barca vice-president Ferran Soriano insisted the Spanish club waited for the green light from Arsenal before making a move for a player he says had shown an interest in the Spanish club.

"This extraordinary player has expressed that he liked our club for months," Soriano told BC FIve Live.

"The actual deal was discussed on Friday and over the weekend. He landed here on Sunday and we are going to be finishing up everything on Monday."

Henry said his decision to leave Arsenal was due to the shock departure of Gunners vice-chairman David Dein and continuing doubts over the future of manager Arsene Wenger.

"Arsene has been part of my life for as long as I can remember," Henry wrote in the Sun newspaper.

"Unfortunately and understandably, he has said that at this moment he will not commit to the club past the expiration of his current deal, which finishes at the end of the coming season.

"I respect his decision and his honesty but I will be 31 at the end of next season and I cannot take the chance to be there without Arsene Wenger and David Dein."

Do you think this is a good deal for Arsenal?

Henry, who has also been linked with European champions AC Milan, also revealed why he decided to move to the Nou Camp.

"Barcelona are a wonderful club steeped in tradition and play beautiful football. I'm sure I will be very happy there," he continued.

"But I will miss the Arsenal fans dearly, they have supported me through thick and thin.

"They will always be in my heart, as will all the fans who make the game here so special. I will always have a special bond with Arsenal Football Club."

Arsenal's 1971 League and FA Cup winning captain Frank McLintock was surprised Henry cited former vice-chairman Dein as a reason for leaving.

He said: "I can't see the relevance of David Dein's departure. I don't know how a player can get caught up with a director's departure and that making a difference to a player's performance.

"I'm sure he was a great ally to Arsene Wenger but I don't see how a player comes into contact with a director day after day.

"I've never heard such talk in my life before."

The Scot, however, was lavish in his praise of Henry's performances throughout his Arsenal career.

He added: "He's probably been the finest player Arsenal have ever had so you can't dismiss five or six great seasons that he gave us.

"I think the fans should leave with a warm feeling for Thierry Henry. He deserves it - he has been magnificent."

Henry arrives at the Nou Camp on Monday to undergo a medical

Henry began his career as a winger with Monaco in 1994 - under the supervision of current Arsenal boss Wenger.

He was in France's 1998 World Cup-winning squad and went on to join Juventus the following season.

But his time in Turin was a largely unsuccessful one and the player was soon heading to north London, with Wenger keen to get the best out of the prodigious talent.

The France international has since blossomed into one of the greatest talents in world football.

He helped Arsenal to two league titles and three FA Cups and led the Gunners to the finals of the 2000 Uefa Cup and 2006 Champions League.

In February 2006, he became the first Arsenal player to score over 200 goals for the club, with a strike against Birmingham, and has bagged a club record 226 goals in 364 appearances for the Gunners.

His consistency in front of goal ensured he finished as the Premier League's top scorer on four occasions.

He has won the Professional Footballers' Association player of the year title on two occasions and the football writers' player of the year three times. He has also twice finished runner-up in the Fifa world player of the year.

Fabio Capello wanted to thank the Club, coaching staff and fans for the support shown to him at all times. The following statements were made by the Italian coach once he found out he will not be continuing as manager of Real Madrid.

FABIO CAPELLO PRESS RELEASE
Now that the decision adopted by the Board of Directors of Real Madrid CF concerning my dismissal as coach of the first team of the Club has been made public, I would like to publicly thank Real Madrid CF for allowing me to coach this great Club for a second time, during which I was able to contribute to winning the League title (as was the case in the 1996/97 season).
I am grateful to the squad, coaches, coaching and medical staff, equipment managers and Franco Baldini for all their support.

I would also like to mention the Club's fans in Spain and around the world (without a doubt the best there are) to whom I would like to reiterate my thanks for their unconditional support.

Torres moves to Liverpool

Two or three years it´s been a lot of talk that he will leave Atletico Madrid.
Now it happened...

http://www.soccernews.com/news.php?NWID=6 said:
LIVERPOOL, England (AFP) - Fernando Torres believes he can do what fellow countryman Fernando Morientes failed to do and establish himself as an Anfield goalscoring hero after being unveiled as Liverpool's most-expensive ever signing.

Morientes, who joined the Merseyside club from Real Madrid in January 2005, lasted just 16 months before returning to Spain with Valencia after a disappointing return of eight goals in 41 league outings in England.

He struggled to adapt to the physical demands of the Premiership yet Torres, who has been handed the famous No 9 shirt after signing a six-year 90,000-pound-a-week (181,000 dollar) contract, insisted he could cope with the bruising side of the English game after costing Liverpool 22 million pounds (44 million dollars) from Atletico Madrid.

"I don't think adapting to the physical side will be a problem," Torres, scorer of 91 goals in 243 Atletico appearances, said.

"I've seen Premiership games on television and I know it's harder to get a free kick in England than it is in Spain."

Torres said he could cope with the pressure of scoring the goals to help his new club sustain a serious title challenge. Despite winning the Champions League in 2005 and reaching the final in May, Liverpool have not been crowned league champions since the 1989-90 season.

"I don't have any fear of the responsibilities that lie in front of me at Liverpool," added the 23-year-old Spanish international. "It's not something that worries me.

"I'm totally aware that the expectations here are extremely high and that people will want me to score lots of goals. I'm confident I can do that."

Torres, who has previously been linked with Manchester United and Chelsea, admitted he thought long and hard about leaving Atletico, the club he supported as a boy, before committing the best years of his career to Liverpool.

He spoke to Jose Reina, the Liverpool keeper and Luis Garcia, who left Anfield earlier this week to join Atletico, before making up his mind.

"I have had offers from other clubs in the past, but when I learned of Liverpool's interest I asked Atletico Madrid to listen to the offer," Torres said.

"I'm 23 years old and it's a great age to be making a move like this. I felt I had gone as far as I could at Atletico. I want to set myself new targets and goals, and play in the Champions League.

"To be really considered a truely great player you have to play for one of the great clubs. Liverpool are a great club."

Torres has finished top scorer for Atletico in each of the last five seasons, but Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez, who has now taken his spending to 121 million pounds since 2004, believes the player's goals record can get even better.

"If you analyse the figures," Benitez said, "he was a footballer playing first team football at 17-years-old and it is very difficult to score goals consistently at that age.

"Then Atletico Madrid were not a top four team and Torres was playing up front on his own.

"But if you read the comments of the Madrid supporters they say he couldn't have worked any harder for the team.

"To score the goals he has at his age, every season, shows he has great potential and he has the capacity to improve. I hope that at a big club surrounded by good players he will get even better."

Carlos Tevez on way to Manchester United...

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/teams/m/man_utd/6276064.stm said:
Tevez move faces League scrutiny

Tevez has his heart set on a move to Manchester United

Carlos Tevez is keen on a "dream" move to Manchester United - although any deal will come under heavy Premier League scrutiny before going through.
The League insists the transfer must be "done directly" with West Ham rather than his agent Kia Joorabchian.

Tevez, 23, was involved in a saga that led to West Ham being fined £5m for breaching transfer rules, although they crucially escaped a points deduction.

But he said: "For me, Manchester United will be a sensational destination."

My dream is to be an idol in English football and I can achieve this now

Carlos Tevez

Tevez is still under contract to West Ham for three years, but the League wants to ensure Joorabchian is not paid any of the fee after previous questions over the Argentine forward's "ownership".

West Ham insisted they cut all ties with Joorabchian after they were fined in April.

One possible avenue would be for West Ham to be paid a transfer fee and then agree a compensation figure with Joorabchian for breaching contracts with his company, Media Sports Investments (MSI), when the Hammers terminated third-party agreements following their fine.

I think that this transfer will go through but it will take a while

WD

It is understood though the League would want a substantial chunk of the transfer fee to remain at West Ham rather than it all be handed over to MSI in compensation, otherwise they could be accused of merely covering up the third-party agreements that have caused so much controversy.

West Ham have been speaking to Manchester United about a transfer, and the former Boca Juniors and Corinthians player is excited at the prospect.

He said: "I am a player who thrives on challenges. I went to England to triumph in the Premiership and with West Ham I have achieved that first stage.

"Now I'm ready to move on to the next stage. To be a member of Sir Alex Ferguson's squad will be absolutely spectacular.

"My dream is to be an idol in English football and I can achieve this now."
