Anthony Garcia: Model who sold Alcohol in Tesco
Anthony Garcia, 24, was chosen to buy the fertiliser for the bomb because the plotters felt his pale skin would be less likely to attract suspicion.
Incredibly, the trial heard that the Algerian, born Rahman Benouis, referred to Asians as "Pakis" in his diary and ridiculed his coconspirators as "hairy hobbits" while ringleader Omar Khyam was a "psycho".
Garcia, whose father Elias ran a cafe in Walthamstow, East London, lived in a council house before moving into a flat in Ilford, East London, with his brother, who works for London Underground.
He was introduced to Khyam in 2002 and was invited to Pakistan for military training.
On his return he decided to try modelling to raise money for Muslim fighters in Kashmir, and changed his name to Anthony Garcia because it had a "better ring to it".
He also worked part-time in the wine and spirits department at Tesco.
