i'm not really a fan of these guys but I've always thought that this would be the shit:
imagine a dark industrial beat with Tech N999ne, Chino XL, Twista, and Eminem doing kind of a question and answer type o raps. not just one line each but lets say 4 bars twista, 4 bars em, four bars n9ne, four bars chino ..... and that would make a verse (16 bars)

I was just talking to Heat the other day and mentioned I'd like to stick a nice progressive house track underneath the below and trajik track that's floatin' around.... He dissapeared soon thereafter and I think he's stealing my idea.

I'm a huge fan of real rap over shit besides just basic loops. I've been trying to convince people that rap should be over trance for years... I should have worked harder on that before everyone else decided to...::coughNeptunescough::

Wild shit? Twista sounds like this, "yadayadayadayadayadayadayadayadayadayadayada!" and Tech sounds like this "Don't nobody wanna deal with a nigga that got it together For real and even think his own thoughts..."

Get it?

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh Shiiiiittttttt Zer0...

That was a good one... Twista is like a fast rapping Ja Rule to me. All he talks about is Caressing a woman, peanut butter complexion, and thick hips... You'd have to do a collab with him talking about missing a bitch or something... Tech, you can do anything and damnit, he's on it...

Tech is one of the most complete and to the point artists in the game. He aint like no fuckin' Jadakiss that raps about comparing himself to this person and like that person or Jay-Z, that talks only about trips over seas, and a Bentley for every day of the week, like Baby, Weezie, Fabolous (Ridicolous should be his name), and hmmm. that pretty much sums up the whole rotation of 106th and MTV, well, well... You dont have to disect Tech's complex rhymes, because they are so advanced, that they are easy to understand, unless your B.R.O.K.E.....

Why when talk of any Tech collaberation comes up you cats got to turn it into some type of damn competition? Ive been wanting to hear a Tech & Twista colab back when Calm Before The Storm and Adrinaline Rush were out around the same time. Now that it could actually become a reality some of you cats talk like its going to be a battle and not just a hella tight track with two of the siccest fast flow MCs in the game. KC-ya

This isn't a comp. I just have had a strong dislike for Twista and any fast rapper in the game. They use the ability to rap fast to cover up for the fact that they suck. Even if the DID have a good writing style, you wouldn't be able to tell because all you hear is a lotta "hubudahubudahubudahubudahubudahubudahubuda" (also known as Bone Thugs). I wouldn't like Tech for the same reason, except that I understand every fuckin' word he's sayin'. He speaks clearly, with decent grammar and doesn't throw the whole ebonics dictionary into one verse, then spit it backwards twice as fast just to sound like he knows what he's doing.

I'm not one to hug anyones nuts... I just hate fast shit because three quarters of it is usually flash, and the other quarter is quality.

Mann every one wanna act like they know it all (Me too. Here listen). Both twista and tech are dope as hell and yall are missin the point. The purpose of a colab is to create a cut that incorporates both styles and useually both artists will come off like one another depending on what type of track. Ya dig? And its also to do bring the listeners to gether to.:cheeky:

I disagree on this whole thing. I think if you actually listen you can understand every word the guy says except for that first bullshit album that was just him being fast as shit. A collab would be tight to me. Just my opinion though.

Peace

You fuckin' kats are always good for a laugh. Let me ask you something kids, if you live in Canada, is the only music you hear Canadian music? Like I'm in NY, so somehow that affects my ability to understand and judge music. Anything I like has to be a nursery rhyme set to a beat.

Just because someone is from NY, doesn't make them "my rapper". I mean, 50 Cent is one of the biggest rappers goin, yet people out of NY manage to like him, even though he isn't "their rapper".

Maybe I don't like Twista because I just don't like it...

Learn to read, you illiterate fuckin' cracksmokin' fool...

It's so amusing to me that the only thing everyone out there has to say always starts with "you east coast..." Shit man, go back to school and learn some new words so maybe you could at least trick me into believing you have the slightest of a clue.

Ok....zero is correct about some people using speed to cover up their lack of talent, but twista isn't like that. He is more gangbang crap that doesn't usually appeal to me but his flow AND his LYRICS are great. Maybe it is we just have different points of view on lyrics but will you guys tell me this. DO YOU LIKE THE YOUNG DROOP AND TECH REMIX OF UNDER PRESSURE? That is what i call a good example of someone using their flow to cover up what they are saying. I don't even wanna try and hear what young is saying in that song because it sounds terrible and I know it isnt complex at all. Anyways, we all have opinions and we will probably never agree on who is better or blah blah blah.

Exactly you never even listened to it. You also said 50 cent sucked the first time you listened to it. Im not saying you have to like it, your opinion is your opinion, but if you can honestly listen all the way through the "adrenaline rush" cd and say that the beats, subject matter, and flows are whack then i greatly disagree with ya. But your opinion is your opinion.

Peace

No. I don't know if you missed an earlier post of mine (who knows what thread it was on) but my friend used to play the thing all the time. I didn't "listen" to it, but I "heard" it. The thing is, if it didn't catch my ear while it was on in the car, which is where we were 24/7, then I obviously didn't like it. The kid swore up and down it was good but I just wasn't feelin' it at all.

And about 50, it was never that I disliked his music, it's just that I disliked HIM. I bought that album expecting to enjoy it, but I wound up playing it once or twice and putting it away into it's case, where it's stayed since.

Things can grow on me, but it's very rare. Now I put in Absolute Power and the first thing that hits me is "Industry is Punks"??? That's the type of shit I need to even give a cd a second spin. I mean, I "like" a few rap groups and songs here and there (MOP, Baby, Clipse) but I really "feel" some other shit (Tech, DMX). The rest I just have no patience for. I'm the type of kid where when it comes to rap, it's either really good (in my opinion), or it's not on. A shitty rock song I might be able to put up with, a chick song I can let slide because I take it for what it is, but rap I don't like immediately, just gets tossed.
