TV on the Radio (Band)

I HIGHLY suggest everyone check out this band from Brooklyn, NY. Their music is so fucking good. They are a "Avant-Garde Indie Rock" band who's music ranges from free jazz, a cappella/doo-wop, psychedelia, trip-hop and electro...sometimes all in one song.

I just picked up their new album Return to Cookie Mountain and it's one of the best CD's in any genre that I have picked up this year. Their other full length called Desperate Youth, Blood Thirsty Babes is a classic and the song "Staring at the Sun" is a masterpiece IMO. Their two EP's Young Liars and New Health Rock are worth picking up too.

I just saw these guys on Letterman. I wasn't too impressed right away, but by the end of the song they played I was craving more. I'll just say I was impressed enough to add them to my list of bands to check out. Plus I think they got a sweet name.
