for one...i dont write exclusively for rap. never did. the shit i do on the siccness is just for fun and games. only reason why i picked up the bars again was because when i came back to the siccness...i was disappointed in what i saw of the flow (which is under you watch BTW). if imma help transform this shit...i'll have to transform my rep. also...wordplay, vocab, metas...story telling...rhyming in general is all good practice for writing for whatever endeavor.

another point i made was that just like anyone can pick up a pen and pad....anyone and everyone can pick up a mic and rap. your counter to that was that...not everyone can pick up a mic and rap...seeing as how you ethered yourself with that average job statement...apparently you are one of those guys that can't rock the mic. you have nothing to show to show for it...except for a myspace page probably.

Well let's see.. Normally when you want to advance, you take a step forward. We're all here, writing raps. Some of us move forward and actually spit those raps so people hear them. This whole forum is about flows, now show me how a text verse has any type of flow. You're content with writing and doing your little text battles.. Battles are a part of hip hop, and what is hip hop again? Oh that's right, it's a MUSIC genre. There's more to the game than writing a verse. Anybody can rhyme, it's not hard at all. But not everyone can rap, despite what you say. If you don't believe that, go watch some of those videos of nerdy white kids trying to battle eachother on youtube. They can rhyme, but they cannot rap.

You can have the sickest, most clever rhymes and win a text battle. But if you have no flow and cannot rap, you will lose an audio battle to a mediocre lyricist. It's a whole new element of the game, an element you've yet to experience.

You keep saying "you haven't done shit with rap" and blah blah, but I've already taken a step forward. In order to do something with rap, you have to actually rap first. It's kinda like winning the lottery, you have absolutely no shot at it if you don't play. But that's beside the point, because the fact is I have not taken any initiative in rap. I'm still practicing, still learning, still getting better. I have not tried to drop an album, I haven't tried to get a deal, I haven't tried to do any shows, I haven't tried to make any money doing it.
