Something has definitely happened to this forum, and I don't mean in a good way. The only people who refuse to acknowledge this (as seen in this thread) are those that have adapted to the changes, or those that came to this forum after the fact. The rest simply lost interest. I could name several causes for this but any attempts to do so would be futile.

While I do agree there were more than likely other factors as well it's pretty clear that message boards as a whole are a dying breed for the most part. People, especially younger people, want real time interaction and don't see much of a point to boards like this.

Other shit like twitter is fun for trolling celebs, but I'll take forums over facebook/twitter shit any day.

Shit like 4chan is funny when there are major sports events or big news or anything like that. One good thing on 4chan is when there is a new post in a thread, the thread auto updates. Something like that would be good here.
