see thats what i like about it....listen to Death Certificate or some old PE albums...i like the sound hes trying to create...the one thing that i was disapointed in when it came to USS was with the title i feel it should have been more of a concept album....like showing all the different aspects of what Urban Survival Syndrome is....im not sure mitch is there yet as an MC to pull that off but that was what i was expecting...but i loved the production...i mean i didnt go in expecting a SD album...Mitch is bigger than a Fam Mart cd rapper so his album shouldnt come out sounding like a Fam Mart cd rapper...thats not a diss to anybody else but when youre dealing with heavyweights you cant have a middleweight sound

Freaks its a c.d its not a critical life decision..haha..I feel ya although i did like Mitchy Duz it....Im glad it wasnt polished..it was araw gutter mixtape...old with the new....but I agree on messy slick and trigeration station... USS is better then messy slick and different then trigeration station....what I do like on the album is hot...but what i dont well ..i dont....For me personally If I lost the USS c.d I would replace it just for the song with him and WC called Amnesia..to me one of my favorite Mitch tracks ever...when ya play this..how can ya not feel it.
so i walk back into music trader & RE-BOUGHT Mitchy Duz It & was VERY disappointed.... alot of the verses seemed rushed & i really didnt like the feel of the mixtape....
No disrespect but you sound stupid. Mitchy Duz It was dope as fuck and the best mixtape outta San Diego. I think it was better than U.S.S to be honest.. Mitchy Duz It had a feeling that Mitch went back to non industry hood shit and he hit the note perfectly.

so, it was brought up in another thread so i figured id go here with it.
me, personally - i dont listen to ALOT of SD rap because, well - to be honest... theres only a chosen few i really think are talented.
i had a cd-r of Triggeration Station.
& it was pretty cool.
a couple songs were really banging
a couple songs were skippable.
all around a decent cd.
i thought HMMM... MAYBE I SHOULD CHECK INTO SLICKS MUSIC
then i bought a copy of MITCHY DUZ IT.
& before i even left the parking lot @ Music Trader in El Cajon (i went into Santana's mexican food shop & left the windows down) - someone had stolen that from my passenger seat (but left the Jay-Z Black Album).
so i walk back into music trader & RE-BOUGHT Mitchy Duz It & was VERY disappointed.... alot of the verses seemed rushed & i really didnt like the feel of the mixtape....

now, i was reluctent to buy USS based off of MITCHY DUZ IT.

My opinion is always different from the rest & I personally like USS better. I did expect it to be a little better but I was still pleased. The production does sound more mainstream but the beats for the most part knock. His lyrics stepped up a few notches IMO on USS as well.
TS goes hard & is more gutter but for some reason I'm more attracted to the USS album.
On TS Mitch was rough around the edges & was still grooming his skills
