Trick Daddy was arrested over the weekend and charged with a myriad of charges associated with illicit drugs and guns. He was also charged with driving with a suspended license. The Broward County Drug Task Force made the arrest on Friday and slapped the old school legend with three counts of possession of drugs and guns according to GossipExtra.com. The authorities suspect Trick Daddy was running a drug house, in the residence that was valued at over $500,000.
Trick Daddy, real name Maurice Young, was arrested as he attempted to leave his residence.
By the time the 39-year-old was apprehended, he was already being monitored by deputies and they had a warrant to search his property for drugs.s
According to a report, Trick Daddy admitted that authorities would likely find cocaine and trace amounts of weed at the home.
A police report stated that they found one gram of cocaine in Trick Daddy’s nightstand, a 9mm under the bed pillows and munitions in a nearby bedroom. A convicted felon, Trick is not allowed to own firearms or ammunition.
At press time, Trick was out on $6,100 bond.
