I mean its a business!! If the Vice President at Coke gets offered a President position at Pepsi, people aint gon be like he sold out, or none of that ignorant bullshit. Maybe I'm just old and understand business, but rap fans take this shit waaaayyy tooo serious. Trick Daddy worked for Slip N Slide and now he works for G-Unit. C-Bo struggled with West Coast Mafia and now works for G-Unit. I think they made excellent decisions if their situations were upgraded which in both cases they are. Trick and Bo got families and responsibilities. I think its good that niggaz can mature and put petty grievances to rest and make money. Its almost like the rap fans would rather see they favorite rapper in jail, or broke and fucked up, or dead in the name of keepin it real. I mean if Bo said, nah fuck Buck I'ma keep it real and keep not sellin records with WCM, thats a good move to yall???? Im lost....can somebody explain how Nas,Bo,and Trick made bad moves in gettin money with "diss record" enemies?

nas signing to defjam under, Jay Z

Jay Z...the guy who double tag teamed with some other dude and "skeeted" on his wife,

the guy who took shots at nas' career while nas's mother was dying

Nas made a whole bunch of tracks dedicated to Jay Z, even an ablum concept..
that was supposed to be the realist shit..
but at the end of the day, he signed to defjam under Jay Z

that was when Nas lost his truest fans, now he's an industry whore ready to open his legs and get exploited by jay z

same thing that happened when C-bo joined g unit

yeah and ima probably get this

"oh no! its all about the money and feeding your family and shit, and that paypa!!"

muthafucka, if thats really the reason... go do some remixes with enrique eglesias and make a song with soulja boy for some ringtone money

but i guess its money, then integrity for rap cats these days,

kinda reminds you of prostitutes
Rap is all about money, its there job. If you had an oppurtunity to get paid more money for what you do for a living.... wouldn't you take the job?

I disagree! Man they was having a "rap" beef! A war of words!!! And as far as the bitch goes.....so what?!! Its a bitch!!! Im a women and I always think its some fag square shit when niggaz fight over bitches!! I think its a part of growing up. U got 2 very talented well respected artist that said..hey..we aint shootin and fightin and carrying on, we just had a misunderstanding and as men, lets talk and work it out. Whats wrong with that? Oh I see, you'd rather see Nas get his career railroaded and put on the backburner over at Columbia, then get on Siccness and talk shit about "what happen to Nas, he fell off" rather than gettin with somebody that believes in him and can pump life into his career. Not directed at u personally, but this is what is wrong with Black people as well as the rap community. We refuse to think outside of the box!! We perpetuate ignorance in the name of "keepin it gangsta, real, hood" etc. rap music is a billion dollar business! Not a street gang or a hood, its an industry. These artist have loyalty to their families first. If a fan wont fuck with Nas cuz he made a positive move in his career by fuckin with Def Jam, then u wasnt a real fan from the gate. What counts is the music! Why are u as a fan worried about who he works for and who pays him?

Aint nobody looking for Nas to go and do a drive-by on Jay-Z or roca fella, but how as a MAN you can sit and talk plenty of mess about this dude saying he aint nothing and attack his credability and this same dude talking about pushing up in your baby's mom and leaving condom wrappers in your baby's car seat, and then you turn around and sign under this dude like it was a Kool Moe Dee and LL Cool J rap battle yall was just in.

I wish the best for both these dudes, but I'm sure Nas and his family were alright, and will be alright without Jay-Z.
