Speaking of correcting someone's spelling, you need to check yourself. The fact that you're labeling the statement as mine makes it possessive. The correct way is as follows: "AS far as your calling me an 'average stick figure of a man.'" By the way, the colon belongs INSIDE the quotation mark.
