I would nominate the first rapper to make an album without 1000 features for the nobel price. Damn, I am tired of all guests. No specific shot at Trae who I think is a great rapper, but what happened to "real" solo albums? After No Limit had 20+ features on their records back in the late 90s this has become standard.
I wish for gangsta rap albums to come back to no skits, no features, no fillers, just plain hard rap with dope ass beats, just like the old NWA, BDP, Geto Boys etc albums

I was really disappointed in this album. I thought it would be on par with Same Thing Different Day and Loosing Composure. Rap-A-Lot did Trae wrong though cause I was lookin thru all the Target, K-Mart, Best Buy, & Circuit City ads and it didn't even show it was comin out. They promoted more for that new Pimp C CD then this CD.

The OG version of Swang is mos def the best version of the track.

Shit, where I work at, I ordered 15 more of this cd. We already sold 5 copies (not counting the three I bought). This mother fucker is banging though. A good work. Definetly not on par with Losing composure, but the style is different so its hard to compare and easy to contrast.

I like this album better then his last two. This album just sounds really complete to me. The other two were tight but seemed like they was missing something. But this is a classic for sure. Too bad they not pushing him so he can get the proper sells and promotion he needs to establish himself the way he deserves. They could atleast put him on RapCity or 106 & Park one time before the end of the summer.

Track #13 "NO HELP" is like OH BOY!!! Not since PAC has anyone rapped with that authentic emotion. Every time I buy a cd that features Z RO, that is the 1st track that I want to hear because I know that it's gonna be some real sh*t!!!!!

This cd has some bangers on here but I like STDD(4/5) more.

amen to that!! it kinda reminds me of the old g-maab days with z-ro and trae really going off talking bout real shit...

the album as a whole is not as good as his previous releases in my opinion for the reason that he put stuff like cadillac on it that sounds like everything else that's out there. he sacrificed a part of his unique sound to getting more mainstream appeal and radio play i guess...
well, i'm more than happy to see trae get the recognition he deserves!! just like his other albums better...


and LMFAO at BET not playing swang cause there are no girls... that's hella stupid!!
