I would rather listen to Reek Daddy over Shock G or SMOOV E anytime. Shock G is mostly known for being Humpty Hump and I never really liked his rap voice that much. Reeks voice allways sounded Dope and you knew he was serious about what he Rapped. His verse on the track: Punk Rock should get him in the top 50 alone and he has many other tracks that are fire: Crestside Crocodiles - Bangin' is a art and I Mastered it. I agree with you about Mr.Doctors longevity, he fell off big after the album Bombay but Setrippin" Bloccstyle was a classic. Gangsta Dre is definitely a top 50 Nor CAL Rapper - Gang Banging Poetry & Inner City Poet? Also what about: 2 Pac, Phillthy Rich, Lavish D, Chunk?

shock g is an undisputed legend in bay rap, no way he doesn’t make a list where legacy and impact are a criteria. i understand why u think reek daddy should make it over smoov-e, but i personally bumped smoov-e more back when he was affiliated wit mac dre. he had himself a lil cult following and i believe he still does. pac i consider a socal rapper since he was reppin LA at his height .. philthy rich was on my original list and so was lavish d.

ITS NOT ALL ABOUT FANBASE

HOLLOW TIP DOESNT HAVE ANYTHING THAT MATCHES TROUBLED MIND
Im re-Reading this thread. Hollow tip - takin No shortz is way better then young dre d album, man. Not saying troubled mind is a bad album, but takin No shortz is one of the best albums out of sac ever. Use that dl link posted by big chunk wisely, man

On a side note: i sometimes still bump smoov-e first albums. Got some dope shit on those albums. Top 50 i dont know about that though.

Yee bro, I think if you had more exposure to Hollow Tip you woulda included him on your list. And he still makes music to this day and it's good too. I got an OG copy of Takin No Shortz and am bumping it right now. Check it out when you get a chance, you will not be disappointed, it bumps from track 1 to track 10.

You keep talking about your original list. I think that list is better. 2 Pac was Big in the Nor Cal Rap scene before he went to Death Row. Smoov E allways sounded like a rich white kid trying to rap to me, but I do like the tracks he did with Mac Dre. Smoov E but no Gucey Guce Doe Boy that is just wrong.

naah my original list didn’t include 11/5, heiro or totally insane so it’s definitely not better

as for pac, i kno his story .. from ny to the bay but ultimately settled in LA. fuck it, i’ll post my west coast list in the socal section.
