top 5 bay area artists of all time??

one of the key criteria on the mtv2 show was also IMPACT. considering impact, im suprised more people haven't mentioned 2pac (made his name in the bay, repped the bay), digital underground, and the hiero crew. all three have made a huge impact on other bay artists. it's a tough list to make, but i would include names like too $hort, spice 1, 2pac, e40, the luniz, digital underground, and hiero (and yes, i do realize that digital underground, the luniz, and hiero are not 1 mc).
not really........there are a lot of VERY GOOD rappers from the bay.....but i hold a very high standard of what I feel makes a rapper great...........honesly, i cant even name a top five becasue i never rank bay rappers like that no more, too many styles and not enough lyrical prowess......but u've gotta realize, this is coming from someone who's favortie rappers are Royce Da 5'9, Crooked I, Clipse, and Fabolous so knowing that, along with the lyrics in my signature, u should be able to sort of decifer the pedigree of rappers im drawn towards..........
