No offense to FAB at all, and for the record, it was my ringtone for MOOOOONTHS, but I think Hit Me On Twitter kinda flopped. That, to me, could have been a HUGE record, especially since twitter got so popular last year. It was a gimmick/catchy song that could have given FAB a broader audience.

^^^ thats why u dont make songs with a gimmick appeal, make music that YOU feel, and that YOU believe in, not just to possibly get on a bandwagon and make a quick mill. my 2 cents

I AGREED WIT ALOTTA OF WHAT YOU SAID,BUT THIS IS AN IDIOTIC STATEMENT RIGHT HERE...THE "THIZZ GIMMICK" WAS NO GIMMICK AT ALL WHEN IT CAME TO DRE...THAT WAS REALLY HIM!!!IT BECAME A GIMMICK AFTER HE DIED!!!AND THE CREST HAD BEEN ON THE MAP FOR A LONG TIME BEFORE THIS DECADE...SO "FUCK THAT STATEMENT!"

EVERYTHING ELSE YOU SAID WAS ON POINT.BUT THAT WAS STUPID.
WHOA B4 U START STAMPIN AROUND LIKE A FUCKIN PIST OFF RHINO/MAC DRE CULT FOLLOWER LEMME ESPLAIN EH?

Sure that was Mac Dre just bein Mac Dre,but thats just it.Everyone wanted 2 be Mac Dre.
And it wasn't really about the music no more it was about goin Stupid and this whole movement really affected the music in a bad way if you ask me.
Sure the Crest was on the map b4 than, but not like it was with MacDre's Thizz Movement.

AND THAT BULLSHIT 2 ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When you have the Quality of Gangsta Music the Crest produced in the early 90's and it's bein outsold, outshined and shadowed buy Dre's fuckin antics correlating with the Extacy boom....IT JUST FUCKIN KILLS ME.

Mac Dre is at the top a the list when its comes 2 known Cali rappers...only 2 that tread waters with him are E40 and 2Pac...say what you want but these are the prodominant 3...(Don't gimme that MC Hammer BS)

And Mac Dre wasn't even as good as half the Rappers on the YBB roster.

Mac Mall Illegal Buisness and Untouchable>anything Mac Dre did on YBB
Ray Luv Forever Hustlin>anything Mac Dre Did on YBB
Young Lay Black N Dangerous>anything Mac Dre did on YBB
Dubee aka Sugwolf>Anything Mac Dre did on YBB

I'm just sayin I got luv 4 Mac Dre 2 but people lost they're fuckin marbles and it's considered cool....I don't know I guess I just prefer that the real GAME and the real Gangstas music of the YBB days over Mac Dre bein silly n actin gay cuz he on X....I never liked the movement and only liked sum a the music Dre did at that time and almost NONE of the music made by people who tried 2 be like him.

I swear if Mac Dre was still around he could talk half the west coast in2 killin themselves just cuz MacDre said 2...its rediculous
Mac Dre was the clown of the group n he was the most famous cuz of it when he really wasn't even that tight.

^^its cool to have your own opinion and your entitled to it but to say he was actin gay on x and to say he was a clown and to say his "antics" as if it was fake ur wrong homie..and to say he wasn't even that tight u obviously must not have ever liked him much cuz ughhh look on youttube and see how many hits he was on his videos and that should pretty much tell u if he was "tight".. its not even about youtube tho he was just spittin that real street shyt and thats why people listen to his music..just cuz its not gangsta mobb music doesn't mean its not "real"..he spit real shyt but in a comedy type way but it was still real street shyt he just had a different way of doin it..and he wasn't famous cuz he was a "clown" he was famous cuz of his "music" that he made..and im sure no 1 from the crest thinks that Dre outshined any of their music prior to him blowin up and im sure they'll say that Dre put the crest on the map waay more than any other artist ever did!!..and the last statement u said about if Dre was alive and that he could make half the westcoast kill themselves just cuz he was Dre pretty much means that he was at the top of his game during his time and that he was embraced and respected by the entire bay..not cuz he was a clown..if he was a clown and was fake people wouldn't respect any of his shyt but they DID cuz he was a real dude... im done have a happy new year every siccness...1

Ayo for Yayo 3 Million Youtube Views get's played in clubs that don't regularly play Bay Records and it's making more money than a lot of them tracks today and the song is like 5 years old. I know the commercial Bay listeners might not have even heard the record yet tours get rocked to that one song that was made in the Bay. #just saying
