I found these by accident, apprently from two waitresses that have served Too $hort at their restaurant:

I worked in a restaurant in Oakland, CA, where many moderate celebrities ate. My favorite story involves rap artist Too Short. He came in on a regular basis with a very pretty woman. He NEVER tipped. We were all getting a little sick of it. One day he came in and sat in Sherry Jean's section. Man, that lady's got guts. She went to the table and told him, "Ya know, if you don't start tippin' we're gonna start callin' you 'Too Cheap'". He laughed, ate his meal, and left a great tip. From there on in, he's always left a good tip.

also used to work in a restaurant in Oakland, CA (1992-1995) and Too Short IF he would tip, would only tip maybe a dollar on a minimum $40 bill. He would often bring an entourage and not leave a dime. One of our waitresses did a similar thing, as the one on the post you had. However, she refused to serve him. She told him and the hostess staff that he was no longer allowed in her section. If that ment he had to wait for an hour for another waitress, so be it. He continued to come to the restaurant, yet still didn't tip.

LOL I used to not leave tips as well. But there was this one time I already paid for my dinner and I pulled out a few loose pennies from my pocket. So what I did was I placed them on the table and headed towards the door, then I caught my waiter and told him that I left him a good tip on the table, he smiled and went to the table not knowing I left him 4 pennies, and so I left the restaurant laughing!

Fuck giving tips. The way I see it, I ain't got no money, no job, but a got a lil $ to eat at a restaurant and I ain't givin away a dime to the muthafuckin waiter who is makin decent money waiting tables. If a waiter/waitress expects a tip from me, they'd better expect a bitch slap commin.

^ that is very strange in Australia no1 ever gives tips. That doesn't even exist. I got US students at my campus that told me that in the US waiters usually make more in tips per night then they do through their normal wage.

You are all cheap bastards. I used to work for tips so I always tip according to my service. If I'm eating somewhere and the waiter/waitress keeps my drink full without bugging the fuck outta me I will tip good. Most waiters and waitresses don't make SHIT an hour. It's usually less than minimum wage so they count on the tips. I mean, of course if you got some lazy motherfucker then forget it, I've left without tipping before. But how can you leave them with nothing if they have done you right the whole time?
