ON THE LOOSE: Since RB Deuce McAllister took over as the Saints' full-time starter in the backfield at the opening of the 2002 season, he has reached 100 yards rushing more than any other running back in the NFL. McAllister has reached the milestone 14 times in 24 games (he did not play in one game last year with an injury), including setting a team record by rushing for 100 yards in each of the last six contests. His lead in the category could have been greater: McAllister has reached 99 yards twice over the last two seasons and also had 96 yards in the 2003 opener at Seattle.
