like, ok, i can see if youre being investigated for murder, and after they start investigating you they start monitoring you and see youre googling shit like, "how to get rid of blood stains" "how to change my fingerprints" "how to get rid of a body", "how to pass a lie detector test" ok, yea that makes sense to use against you in court.
but you do something wrong and they back track like fuckin 5 years of your history through shit where you werent even doing anything wrong just to look for a tiny shred of evidence that may not even be there? how is this even legal. and what can be used against you?
they find you visited some website on serial killers 10 years ago and thats evidence that you pre-meditated murdering people and researched it? god damn if thats the case i might as well be locked up in guantanamo for life for some of the shit ive said and looked at while bored
