I hope to see y'all at Bookie's (R.I.P.) viewing tonight. This is killin' me man. I am still in shock that his happened! I want to show up to show his father some support. His dad is a real good man (he used to pick me up for practice everyday and drop me off on the way to Flooda because my pops was in the pen). And at the end of our games his pops would give me free hot links while I waited for a ride home. Just to put you up on game. I am from the "G" da "Gardens" rogue and I used to play football with Bookie back in the day. We played together on the Palo Alto Knights and at Carlmont. Bookie was the baddest mf I've ever played football with (real talk). He grew up idolizing Eric Dickerson. Bookie had the same number (#29), same face mask, and even the same mouth piece as Dickerson. But he had something Dickerson didn't... the ability to make defenders miss. The boy was a hard hitter too, I remember our game against the Santa Clara Lions. Bookie smashed their running back on their sidelines and you could hear the hit. Everyone on their side line said "oooooooo"!!!! I remember our homecoming game against Woodside, and Bookie was the only one serving them mf's. We were getting smashed, but Bookie was shakin' them mf's like Barry Sanders and kept popping off long runs. He was responsible for getting me on the football team at "Crackmont" because he hollered at the coaches for me when I transferred to Carlmont and put in good words. The next thing I know, I am getting my helmet fitted and lacing up my cleats. If it wasn't for Bookie, I would have never played high school football! Bookie was a real good dude man, I am wiping tears from my eyes as I type this.

Every rapper from Palo Alto needs to get together and do a song for Bookie. If/when I see Scooter, I'll holla at him. Band-Aid is locked up right now, but if you can, put something together. I'll see you there if you attend.

R.I.P. Bookie (We love you bro)

Thanks so much Joey! Yeah he and his dad looked out for me. Bookie used to always give me tips (when they put me at running back) because he was deep and had hella experience. I remember his dad coming down to the sidelines and hollering at the coaches (because we had garbage coaches at Carlmont at the time) telling them to put me in. We were playing against MA, I remember like it was yesterday! I was standing on the sidelines damn near the whole game until his pops got on them coaches.

Good lookin' y'all, I really appreciate the support. Y'all some cool cats man!
