Anybody that's gun-ho abotu the fuckin war should be there. Otherwise honestly they should shut the fuck up abotu what it's like over there and what it's about. We can see pretty clearly that Bush is fucking around and things are going down that shouldn't. If people seriously support it, that's their bad for being fucking retards.

Oh and Tadou...Just cause someone might not like what our country is doing, doesn't mean they should leave. People who say that shouldn't be allowed to reproduce, at least until they start using more than 3% of their brain. I know where you're coming from but honestly that whole "get the fuck out if you dont like it" attitude is childish. How about, if you dont' like what we want to do, YOU get the fuck out? Yeah, I thought not. Think before you speak.

I thought about it plenty, friend, and it is not my fault your simple ass can't paraphrase worth a damn.

Leaving != Emigrating. It means GET OUT OF THE COUNTRY, preferably, for more than 3-5 days while you lay on the beach drinking alcohol and chasing the native women. Go live in another country, try to find a job, try to vote, try to do ALL of these things. And see what happens. Once you do this, you'll find this country isn't as fucked up as your spoiled ass thinks it is, especially if you go somewhere other than Europe or Canada.

If I support the war, I don't need to go fight on the front lines. But I definitely owe it to myself to look into it. --- In my own case, nearly all of my current education has been as it relates to language. Unfortunately, what I've taken doesn't include Arabic, so I'd have to start from scratch, which would take well over a year (at several hours a day) to become functional, and even more to be useful.

If you don't support the war (or the president, or whatever), you don't need to leave the country. But you owe it to yourself to try and find a way to live outside of it for a stint. -- in your case, you are in college, and you could easily do a study abroad, assuming you aren't graduating in 2006.

(And so you know, 3% of my brain is equal to 'bout 17% of yours. Just an FYI.)

Tadou, just cause other places are more fucked up, doesn't mean that we shouldn't be trying to constantly make progress. Anyone who thinks things should stay the same and not evolve is trippin and is trying to control something. Although, I do agree that living outside the country isn't a bad idea and I have looked into it more than several times. That's part of the reason I'm tryin to go to Europe when I graduate from school...But like I said, just cause other places are fucking shit holes doesn't make our shit hole anymore pretty.

Actually sport, thats the definition of pretty: looking better than others. If you have no basis (and yes: The USA is the basis), what do you even measure from "pretty"? Ideals that have never come close to existing?

As for your idea of progress....we are not some country with 5 million people like Denmark or Norway. We have almost 300 million people, thousands of miles long and wide (no homo), with varying cultures and even climates. We're not just some blip on the radar that can simply declare "A, B and C!" and have things change overnight. Things take time.

If you don't believe we are making enough "progress", I implore you to forego Europe and go to Africa, the Middle East or South America instead. If you are afraid of learning another language, check into Jamaica, South Africa, or somewhere similar. But going straight to another 1st world country, you ain't gonna learn to appreciate shit.

I'm already looking into a 2nd study abroad for French, and my choices are going to be among Canada, Haiti, West Africa, France, etc. France so far is in last place among my choices, WAY behind Senegal.

Bootstrap Republicanism....the only way to go.

You know, it seems that you think you know exactly what I mean, but you have read into it wrong.

I didn't say change happens over night. You assume that's what I mean. I know it takes a LONG TIME for changes to happen, but that's the point. If you leave and don't do shit, you're running away from something that you could potentially make better. I don't have to go to Argentina to figure out that our country has problems. Every country has problems, we just happen to have a shit load of fucking people which makes it worse (in my opinion).

As far as where to go, you can stop adding onto your list of places now. First it's, "go somewhere else" and now it's, "go to a 3rd world country or 2nd world." Which one is it? I thought that no matter what it would open my eyes, I mean that's what I took from what you said, correct me if I'm wrong.

You can have your ideals, but just cause those are yours doesn't make them right for everyone else. In my case I'd slap the fuck out of myself if I thought the same way you do (if I knew better). But that doesn't mean you're wrong, I just don't agree. I just dont' insult you for disagreeing like you do to myself and others.

As far as the word pretty, I didn't mean it as in looking better. I'm saying that every country has shit that's wrong with it, but just cause other places are fucked up, doesn't mean ours is better cause it's a little less fucked up than other places.

I hate to do it, but there is too much here to respond in just one block. My apologies.

And this right here is why its impossible to talk to you on the internet: you just don't get it, unless someone is standing right there, beating it into your head.

If you are a NOBODY (and we BOTH ARE), it makes NO DIFFERENCE if you leave the country for a year or two to check things out, ESPECIALLY if you go somewhere where a lot of that country's host culture is involved in ours. (In much simpler terms, I went to Mexico because we have lots of Mexicans in the United States. I didn't go to Spain, because there aren't many people from Spain here).

"Running away" has nothing to do with it. Its about expanding your horizons, and realizing your pampered ass don't have it as bad as you think you do. What you call "problems" are more like small issues, and what these people call "problems" is some life-threatening, you-could-die-tomorrow-from-a-common-cold type shit.

I've seen it. Have you? If you haven't....you should. Its no joke. Its beyond the politics of Left vs Right. It is some grown-up shit.

I was expounding, sir. My second and more elaborate post, I clearly included: "Once you do this, you'll find this country isn't as fucked up as your spoiled ass thinks it is, especially if you go somewhere other than Europe or Canada." -- Surely you realize that most 1st world countries are in Europe, whereas almost all of South America, Africa and Asia is 3rd world.

You should be happy to know that that shaping process is done now. I just want you to understand that if you take yourself to England or France (after taking 1-2 semesters of French) or some bullshit like that, you ain't gonna learn shit about shit. You need to go to a 3rd world, Non-English-speaking country to really understand what makes the USA so special.

To each his own. All i know is, I love my country and have all kinds of goals and business plans, and most of what I know about you is that you're an Atheist America-basher who likes to complain and wants to go live in Europe.

As far as the word pretty, I didn't mean it as in looking better. I'm saying that every country has shit that's wrong with it, but just cause other places are fucked up, doesn't mean ours is better cause it's a little less fucked up than other places.
AGAIN! THAT IS THE DEFINITION OF BETTER: LESS FUCKED UP! -- Holy shit dude, I know what you're getting at, but you've got to learn to word it better.

The problem with people like you is that you don't understand what progress really is. You (as in Liberals) sit around complaining about ANWR and other trivial shit, and meanwhile, people are getting left behind and not taking advantage of what they can get from Uncle Sam or their State. You cry wolf about 50 times a day, and frankly, people are getting sick of it.

2006 is the Democrats' last chance, IMO (Liberals too, since you're the type that refuses to admit to being a Dem). If they don't pick up some Senate and House seats, its game over. Stop being such a radical and a prescriber (instead of a moderate and a DEscriber), and maybe your side would start getting some shit accomplished.

You don't really know shit then. And I'm not worried about your multi-blocked replies, I didn't read all the way through them. But, you seem to have a one sided view of who I am, probably because of the issues displayed here and how I think about them but you don't seem to realize that you really don't know shit about shit when it comes to who anyone is on here. That's not the subject though...

I wouldn't consider myself liberal, you might, but I don't label myself anymore (or I try not to) because it sets limitations, especially when others believe you are Atheist for example, but different people think differently about Atheism, so they think that all of a sudden cause someone might have certain beliefs that they automatically believe something else because someone else does. Try dealing with people as individuals and not a big group and you'll find that people aren't as fucking stupid as you think.

And as far as people being sick of liberals, woopty fuckin doo, everybody is sick of everybody else, that's the American way....If you dont' do what I do and say to do, then fuck you! lol...There's pros and cons to everything.

And the best Pro to you is that you're a conformist non-conformist. A nice, neatly wrapped package of disillusion and discontent, manifesting itself in Atheism, Liberal values and a rejection of mainstream society.

Me personally, I don't have that problem. I call myself a conservative because thats what I am. Only a scared ass fool would be afraid of "labeling" himself, for fear he would lose his so-called "credibility" as an "unbiased" person. Well, news flash: None of us are unbiased. Refusing to admit you are a Liberal is about as stupid as someone asking you what race you are, and you respond with "Human"--You're the only one that looks stupid.

Think about it:

- Atheism
- Hostile towards Christians
- Anti-War
- Anti-Bush
- Anti-Patriot Act
- "I'm not a Liberal or a Conservative"
- Anti-Republicrat (though you bash Repubs about 10x more than Dems)
- etc etc.

Everything about you says Typical Liberal. The fact you're from Seattle, and yet, STILL are struggling to deal with the fact you aren't special or unique or anything else, and just another one out of about 2 1/2 million....its truly priceless.

I continue to support the Iraq war, and i yield back the balance of my time.

Like I said, don't label something you haven't experienced. I'm only hostile towards those that disrespect me, obviously you cannot read. I don't have a problem with repubs, only the ones that dislike me cause of what I think, which is ridiculous. And I'm not Atheist, not that it really matters, but if you're gonna talk shit, GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT!

And I don't have to be "special" cause I know what I'm capable of...You live your life and quit worryin abotu me. You make all your arguments towards me personal, yet you don't know me, you just have a off base idea of who I am based on my extreme comments on this forum. You don't know SHIT.

I know plenty, Ryan. What I know about you suffices.

In so-called 'real-life`, we'd be two peas in a pod. You smoke, you drink; I smoke, I drink. We both listen to NW rap and are interested in helping the scene. We both go to school. Both interested in advertising and journalism. Both interested in video production. Even if we couldn't tolerate each other personally, we could still do a lot of damage just by hanging out and forming some joint ventures.

But politically and philosophically, I don't get down with people like you. You don't have any idea what to think, and i don't mean that in a Socratic, Einstein-like "Really, I'm a fool" kind of way. You're lost, and so are most like you. I'm friends with more than a few Liberals and I can't talk with them about politics. It doesn't work.

That having been said, as far as this forum goes...Yes. I know enough about you, a great deal. Outside of it, at this point, doesn't matter, me vale madre.
