When Impact started with Hogan and Flair out there I was excited becasue I thought that ment that they had something much better planned for the main event and the rest of the show. I can't fucking believe that the show revolved around those two. Flair had the best retirment in the history of wrestling. He shit on all the fans that watched him cry for 3 days over that wrestlemaina 24 weekend by stepping back into the ring.

I refuse to watch Hall and Waltmen. And the Nasty Boys. Fuck them to.

while WWE is bringing in legit talent from ROH and coming up with innovative ideas like NXT, TNA is bringing in every wash up who got popped for drugs or has beens that should have retired 10 years ago. Are they trying to bring back Hall too?

I watched Raw, but I was so fucked up that I don't remember shit that happened.
It was honestly a dukie Raw, but I think they did that on purpose. Why? I dont know. the "Mind Freak" did some card tricks, and pulled hornswaggle out of Jillian halls cleavage (j/k) Main event was cool, but thats about it.
Didnt watch TNA. I hear some other folks saying that TNA was a great episode and if that true, can they do it again? Anyone can have one good episode, what are you going to do to follow it up next week and the week after that. WWE will still have more viewers for last night though.

I dont know why folks are so hard on TNA....I think it was a great show. Every division was represented.... X Division, Womens....they turned Sting heel in one night...there were some surprises. And alot more wrestling than on recent Impacts, which is a plus.

I have yet to watch Raw but I hope Impact is like this every week...

ugh. to each their own. Impact was terrible. Blown spots, bad execution, poor excuses for "surprises," washed up old men selling chair shots. It was as if somebody put some PCP in the retirement home's meatloaf & then filmed the consequences.

Impact played out to be a great show this week. Even though it's a detriment to the company, I like the "We have no idea what the fuck we're going to do next" atmosphere you feel about the show. It's a lot like Raw back in the attitude era.

Exactly, I felt that whole Attitude Era vibe...based off the fact that there were unexpected things happening....impromptu match with Eric Young vs. Syxx Pac....Sting being built as a full blown heel in one night.....and Jeff Hardy coming out at the end for no good reason besides to make a surprise....I think Impact was the perfect combination of storylines and wrestling...it makes every other Impact since Bischoff/Hogan took over seem slow paced and like if they were holding off for something...

*Side note*

TNA show actually turned out to be better then raw it had more excitement. raw didnt make any changes yet it was a reg show as usaual
^this

but TNA still came pretty flat. I really only enjoyed that 3 way for the Xdivison title.

I was flipping back and forth between TNA and WWE and everytime I came back to WWE someone was cutting a promo

Chris Jericho posted his thoughts on Rob Van Dam’s debut on Twitter. Chris Jericho wrote the following:

"The beat down of RVD 20 seconds into his debut in TNA was mind boggling. I dont understand how so many talented people can be so clueless"

Monday ratings

RAW: 3.4

Impact 1.0

Average....the loyal TNA viewers tuned in, but they were expecting a bigger number. I dont think they advertised the move good enough, Jan 4th was advertised way better and they made a bigger deal about it. Wonder what the Thursday replay will do, if it does over a 1.0 like the Jan 4th show Thursday replay did, then you know people are interested but just tuned into Raw, or didnt bother at all cuz they knew it would be on @ Thursday anyway.

MORE RAW VS. IMPACT RATINGS INFO AND MY TAKE ON THEM
by Dave Scherer @ 6:15 PM on 3/9/2010

As mentioned earlier, Raw did a 3.4 rating. The show did hours of 3.25 and 3.5. They averaged 5,091,000 viewers.

Impact did a 0.98 rating, which rounds up to a 1.0. The show did 1,361,000 viewers.

Honestly, I think both sides can say positive things about the number. TNA averaged a 1 at a big time of year for WWE. WWE didn't see their number drop all that much from last week. This could end up being a win/win for everyone, including the fans.

I have a feeling next weeks numbers for TNA are going to be very low

I think the Thursday replays will end up having higher ratings...I kind of liked having Impact to watch on Thursdays...and its just more convenient for people to watch Raw on Monday then Impact on the regular Thursdays

yeah alot of it is just brand loyalty...even if there were no IMPACT, Raw's rating wouldve been the same anwayys....
