You can get em cheaper then that, My boy has the Miko but its fully blown, original cost was about $2700( he got a good deal) He is gonna upgrade to the quad core..which aint necessary for most peoples uses especially on here, but he has close to 100,000 sounds. Runs 36 tracks of pro-tools, has the Uad card installed. He still uses the MPC4000 to sequence it he had a shit load of keyboards and modules, and he got rid of everything except the MPC4000 and The ASR-10, and SP1200. This is actually a great piece of equipment..any problems, they can usually help fix your shit from where they are when you are online, You can continue to upgrade, even though at this point if you get the quad core, shit it will be almost all you will ever need. so its better then buying a new Fantom and then roland comes out with a new fantom in less then two years

The idea of having that many sounds/plugins at the ready is unbelievable. No SD card, no PC card, no USB connection. No loading samples, no saving samples to an external device. I imagine the work flow on this as the most streamlined way to go.

yeah I hear many argue saying they can just buy a computer and buy programs and VST's and save money, but this works well, and In my opinion is worth the money, its actually pretty cheap, if you think of the money you might spend other ways constantly upgrading this or that....

How special? Like super duper special? :knockout:
Yeah it comes with all the proteus sounds and the standard pack, maybe some more, but you can get the regular miko and get them sounds from them and its cheaper..its just the timbalin signature that fetches the price. and yes its basically a PC with a midi keyboard, but its integrated well, less hassle

but its on a pc and you said pc isnt as good for music as a mac.....
I didn't say I was gonna cop one, I asked if anybody on here was gonna cop one. I said it's a good look 'cause it's all in one. I can't deny that it's a good idea.

You would have known where I stood on it if you read where I said "My only concern with something like this is, the computer is bound to go at some point...before the keyboards life would end." That's with a Mac OR a PC built into it.

Does anyone have any tracks they can put up they made with this?
I'm seriously thinking about selling all my stuff and getting one.
I'm tired of having a hot ass room with a billion cables running everywere and a huge ass desk to keep all my shit. Plus all the sounds on most of the new boards have been around for days, I need some new inspiration..

My homie made me a track for the Young Sau album we working on., he used all vst's on that song from the Miko, but he still sequenced and used MPC drums, trust me when i tell you..you will not regret it..he is one of the two friends i know who have their own personal guitar centers in their house, and one can make his a museum so much shit, but 1 just uses the Miko and MPC4000 and he still kept the ASR-10 and Sp1200 for a rainy day..When i get in a better situation Im ditching all my shit except MPC and get a MIKO...he runs pro-tools 32 tracks has the UAD card and a gang of plug ins..

It's funny that we were talkin about this piece when I was at your spot last week. If you are really serious about doing this let me have first dibs on everything minus the triton rack, mo phat and 002r.

EDIT: 2 questions:

Does this thing have its own arps

Does this version come in a 61 key model?

lol I know man! Been thinkin about it since that day.
I didn't even think to ask about the arps.
I figured theres only about 20-30 sounds I'd actually waste my time with the mimic program or whatever it's called to transfer to the miko, so why keep all theses boards around ya know.
I definitely need at least a 61 tho, I can't believe it's not standard, considering the price of this shit
