That is assuming that these kids don't know any better. I'm not sure about you, but when I was in high school I knew what could happen to somebody if they got a bad enough beating.

Whether or not their role models teach them this bullshit, they should know in their own hearts and minds what they are doing...and the repercussions of those actions.

It does start at home, but these dumb fuck kids need to learn how to think and act for themselves. I never saw any of this bitch shit growing up...until High School when cats started flashing straps to get out of any confrontation. When I was a kid though, we went until the other person was done. If he got knocked out, it was over (and there was no kicking or beating while dude was down)...if he said "I'm done", it was over. Then guess what...dudes shook hands and let the bullshit go. It was THAT SIMPLE!

When will these fuckin' kids learn?

they may or may not know better, but when gangs are involved it is a completely different culture. that is acceptable behavior. In highschool i had a partner killed and few sent away for murder. i know what it does.

in a perfect world this would be great. reality is with no role models kids look to the streets. they are preyed upon by the weak. sort of like the blind leading the blind.

it's both, I grew up fighting but I know most young people now-a-days don't have no problem stomping you the fuck out, or hitting you with shit so why should I play by some old rules when there is the great equalizer to shut all that dumb shit down. niggaz don't want to go from the shoulders period, they want to stomp, kick, and use weapons, and I aint with being brain dead or dead for that matter.

i may carry a weapon but it is for protection. you would never know i have it.

you never pull anything out unless you are planning on using it.

i'd rather lay my weapon down and go from the shoulders. not everyone is like that so you should be ready just in case.

We all know this or should know this but the hood is configued in a way for you to live below average in every arena. THose of us who aren't living like bums, animals, savages, prey, and other types of character types you see in poeple in the hood had someone in our life that really cared for us and went beyond normal human means to make sure we didn't fall into the trap.

Kids are totally impressionable, like radio said. It still takes a village to raise a kid, but if the village is run by dope dealers, killers, bullies, pimps, rap music, gangsters, etc., and the regular people is silent in they house, that kid is going to come up with a totally asocial set of values. Get money, fuck bitches and women in general, yo daddy aint shit, most niggas aint shit, come up however you can, life is short -so ball, being good and book smart is for square niggas, eat bullshit, you don't have to listen to anybody, etc.... these are the life lessons you are thought. I mean it's deep but I done seen alot of young niggas and mexicans that I grew up with get caught up in the "trap". Luckily, for me I had a real ass moms puttin it down in the midst of bullshit.
