I think we understand the situation perfectly. It's just that the price is only high enough to make you complain about it and not do anything about it.

Kayvee.....

I consider that to be ugly.

Im not a foreigner..... I dont drive foreigner cars.

You know me.... I know you could not see me in that tin-can / fiberglass / overseas / puttin money into other countries pockets / "car"

If it aint american, I aint buying.

I just wanna quote southpark with the "they took our jobs!" line.

DUE TO EVERYONE THINKING JAPANESE ARE THE BEST CAR ENGINEERS OUT THERE.... DETRIOT IS A GHOST-TOWN.

THE HOME OF THE AMERICAN CAR PLANT AINT WHAT IT USED TO BE & NOW WE GOT A HIGHER CRIME RATE THERE THEN ALMOST ANYWHERE ELSE IN THE COUNTRY.

I buy american.

fuck the rest.

...Im a greedy summabitch though,...cause I want what I want.

I want a beautiful 63 drop impala on daytons & hydro's ....with gas prices, even @ what they were 2 years ago.

I understand logic, ....we aint gotta go back to the 60's, where is was like 45 cents a gallon, but I just wanna be realistic with it, ya know?

anyhow.
I still e-grabbed your booty in mid hug, so ...WHAT!? ;)
I read somewhere that Toyota actually manufactures more cars in the US than any other company. And it was the American car companies that took their plants out of Detroit and other areas.

People stop bitching about the gas prices!! Yah they are high, so what. Take public transportation, car pool, ride your bike to work etc. Hopefully soon enough less people will be on the road due to gas prices.

I'm ALL for boycotting these rag head fucks. As were struggling and wasting money, these fucks are getting richer.

The only way the American people are going to understand the current oil crisis, is if television, radio, internet and all other sources for communication expose these issues on a constant basis. They need to interrupt broadcasts, do informative commercials, do TV programs because the average American is either truely too stupid, lazy or "busy" to read up and listen to what's going on. This information needs to be FED to us Americans and constantly put in our face, it's the only way to reach out. We're all too fucking bombarded with are little stupid gadgets like ipods, cellphones and laptops. WAKE THE FUCK UP and start doing something. Support American products. Eventually we won't be a super power if this goes on any longer. These gas prices are just a big scheme to ruin American. Our economy is already fucked up as it is, and now rediculous gas prices. You don't think these rag heads know that, they toying with us!

Shea, i feel your pain man. I am glad my license is suspended and my z28 is inside the garage, the other day i took it out. drove it to the gas station to fill up the gas tank, i spent 75 bucks to fill it up..that shit is ridiculous..

I don't even "fill up" anymore. It hurts me to see myself dish out $80 bucks in one shot on gas. That's just str8 up fucking insane when you think about it. $80,90, 100+ bucks on a fucking liquid that we need just like water. I just fill my shit halfway now so I have the mindset to drive less and try to minimize my urges to mash on the pedal.

I see, but what will we do once it hits lets say 5-10 dollars a gallon for regular. At that point, I think drastic measures would have to take place. Just imagine if people start rioting or something. I wouldn't doubt it if people gather up riot style and take control of gas stations and fill up those 5gallon containers that they jacked from Wal-Mart. lol That's far fetched, but I don't doubt demonstrations turning into violence once prices reach a truely rediculous price. I mean, gas for means of transportation is truely a NEED for most of us, the way American society is built, we depend on it. Most of us commute to work or atleast have to do some traveling to go shopping, take kids to school, etc...

theres now a much greater world market for oil. countries like china where more and more people r driving cars r competing with us now which i believe is one of the major reasons shit is so high.

these gas prices are the ONLY reason why our economy is on the fritz right now, the people who put the prices on the barrels know.... NO MATTER WHAT we will still HAVE to buy gas regardless and they are milking it for all its worth until someone high up has the balls to actually do something about it.

what pisses me off about this whole situation is the people in the middle east are enjoying gas at what it used to cost us here in the 80's at around 55 cents a gallon as we speak! i dont know if its still at that price though, but the article i read on some news site awhile back had stated thats where their price for a gallon of gas was at that time.
