Female ironworker wasn't tied off on a construction job. A rope was hanging down 30 feet from her tools. A truck drove by and one of the rear wheels caught the rope and yanked the tools, ladder (being used like scaffold) and the woman down 30 feet and she shattered both legs....it was crazy watching that shit unfold.....

Worst "injuries" I've had on jobs was exposure to HF due to some db not cleaning up his mess. Fortunately I immediately flushed my hand and put Calcium gluconate on, but still a stressful 24 hours since you almost don't know until your hand becomes rubber from your bones getting eaten or cardiac arrest. Also got a glass bead in my eye once while blasting metalization plates since that company didn't provide safety glasses. When I returned to work at that place I was fired for allegedly sleeping on the job. Ended up being a blessing though, turned out they weren't paying people's health and life insurance, just stealing their premiums, ended up closing without notice, leaving people without thousands in owed pay and hundreds to thousands in medical bills.

As a lifeguard I had an 11 year old die while giving him cpr but it was too late. Also worked with a drunk Mexican monacoat sprayer who fell 35 feet out of a boom jlg lift. Another time we were to finishing up the Infinity towers in the city and some lady came to an open house and jumped off the 32nd story onto a Mercedes. Also seen a lot of people die outside of work I am not lucky when it comes to this
