I got some pork spareribs in the crockpot with a lil veggie broth, some onions and seasoned up real good! I am making a pot of collard greens and some rice. I am going to use the juice from the ribs to make gravy, and I am making some corn bread. I felt like soul food today. not eating for an hour or two though.
only a real cook utilizes this fattening but very rewarding juice. i trip when i see people bust out the packets only and i'm like " you got all that juice sitting right there!" i dont know, if it tastes good it probably isnt too good for you but hey, we only live once.
