Experience only goes so far, then it gets replaced by knowledge.. (unless your 64, and about to retire..they cut you some slack)
Ive already "replaced" all the experience i could have had, thus far, with knowledge...i guess thats my bad.
But you yourself are relying too much on the past, and not enough on the future. Would you disagree that experience is the past, and knowledge is the future?
Experience, Knowledge, Experience, Knowledge...If someone's famous, you could flip a coin, and it was one or the other...either they were IGNORANT and *Required* experienced people behind em, or they were INTELLIGENT and didnt *require* SHIT because they know the meaning of hard work....take notice of the emphasis on the word require...
You could call me an out-of-work lyricist if you wanted...but ill never be out of WORKS...nah mean? Every up-and-coming rapper these days talks that shit like "I been writin and freestylin since i was 11!" or some shit like that....mostly its bullshit. Mostly their stuff is shit, too. Not that you had to have written a specific amount each week for it to "count", but..damn...I personally---more or less--have written over 20 verses a month for the last 5 years...and im only 18. Most rappers dont write 20 verses in two, three, FOUR months...
Im all about the knowledge...you're all about the experience...no wonder we're clashin....but either way, we both (or maybe just me?) know we're gonna do our thing reguardless of what people say, and that our hard work is gonna pay off....you can walk that "straight" path of hiphop all you want....ima travel around the world before i get to that spot...
