I got a 360. My son is gonna be 5 so I don't think he's ready for RE.....lol

I'll look into fight night tho, fighting games seem to be the easiest for him so far, maybe I need a good brawler game like the old school final fight or something like that arcade tmnt or simpsons

I have viva pinata, I'll peep katamari
Katamari is a pretty fun game.. And the next-gen TMNT game prolly wouldnt be bad either, its an alright game.. u'll rack up some acheivement points hella quick too lol

And as for Okami, i already bought it for the WII and also returned it.. It was WAAAAY to slow paced for me, and i got rly bored with it.. Need a lil more substance to my games.
You must have played something else, not Okami, cause that game has a shitload of things to do, places to visit, gameplay mechanics, etc.

lmao i know what game i was playing.. Yeah there was places to visit, that one town, that cave, oh, and that other town.. I'm not real big on visiting town after town to do the same thing.. As for gameplay mechanics the only thing Okami brought new to the adventure genre was the ability to draw/paint on the screen, and use that as a means of attacking and reacting with the environment.. I hated trying to draw shit, sometimes it took me like 10 different tries to jus draw a line and slice a tree lol.. And Okami's story wasnt exactly my favorite either.

Then again im not a real big adventure game fan.. Zelda's the only adventure game that i can really get into.. But to each their own, i know lots of people that liked Okami.. Too me it was jus' way too boring, and i wasn't able to relate with the story at all.. I play the shit out of JRPG's and Japanese games in general, and Okami's story was still way too off the deep end for me.. You're some sun goddess reincarnated as a wolf who has a fairy for a partner and you're goal is to bring color and rainbows back to ancient japan and also defeat an 8 headed dragon-monster thing.. lol no thank you.. Im sure lots of people will find that story interesting, but it jus didnt appeal to me.

btw, i really would like to suggest "Star Ocean: The Last Hope" to any 360 owners that like JRPG's.. This game is so kick ass, the battle system is the best i've ever seen in an RPG.. Some people had complaints with the story, but so far i'm fuckin engrossed in it, and i rly jus get excited at each cut-scene.. Be warned tho, the voice acting for a few characters is HORRIBLE lol.. It really puts a dent in how the story is told but w/e, if you can forgive the sorry voice acting then you'll really enjoy this game.

Some say the drawback of the wii version is the control scheme, and a lot of people say the PS2 version controls better. I only played the PS2 version so I can't speak on how the wii version controls. IMHO, the game mixes elements from Metroid and Zelda (new powers allow you to explore new places) Mario (platforming sections) and hack and slash games like God of War (only less involved and less gory.) Like a lot of Japanese games, there are cultural/historical influences as well as times where they rely on mythology or religion. Thats the case with this game. If you understand a bit about Japanese mythology the story makes sense as the majority of it is derived from that. But anyway, sucks that you didn't get to enjoy it, but at least you were able to take it back.

I can't get down with the american version of SO:4. I heard the voices and wanted to throw the homies 360 out the window, but if there is an option to turn the voices off I may take a look. Some parts of the game don't look visually impressive to my eye, but other parts are on point.

Has anyone picked up MadWorld or Space Invaders Get Even for the wii? By now I'm sure everyone has heard of MadWorld, but the Space Invaders game is 100% different from all the other S.I. games.

if you do not have all the resident evils for gamecube, you are missing out, except zero, go ahead and skip that one. zelda twilight princess is a must on gamecube. conflict desert storm 2 as well if you like squad based shooters. and since i know you like shrooms, try and fry while playing some eternal darkness. should be fun times
