possibly, i say theyre nice because theyre mostly well off and far away from the minority population of SD, but the law just got put in place... i think it was because it isnt an issue to curb drinking there. la jolla is more like a "community neighborhood beach" to me, a little like IB...so its taken as means to protect the area i guess

IB has the same laws now, but methanthetimine on the beach, go head

curbing drinking at pacific beach..now thats a problem

technically, no. which is why drinking on the beach has always been such a big deal in san diego.

when you live in a city that dosent have beaches and you visit one, theres more to do.

when youre a native to a beach city...its like an old wife...you dont do what you used to do with her....the thrill aint there as much anymore as it used to be early in the relationship

yu can tell someone over 40 that they cant drink on a beach in san diego...theyll get hella nostalgic on you

beach cops will just let it slide

"You people" are too spoiled.

Being bored and just sitting at the beach seems preferable to being bored and just sitting on the interenet hoping to get a shread of entertainment out of the siccness.

I never really understood the whole "life is so miserable and boring that i need to drink". Just off yourself and save some space for the rest of us.

spoiled, i guess. i was born here. so looks like god spoiled me.

secondly, preference is based on individualism, meaning that what you think is preferable dosent really matter. at all.

third, drinking alcohol isnt only for the miserable, infact, its also for those who are celebrating life.

as far as the off yourself comment...womp womp wooooooomp

You live in the city that lays claim to the best climate/weather in the country, but rather than enjoy it, it is found preferable to sit on a computer? Why live there? Why pay to have such a life style but not use it? Do you buy food and then throw it away just so you can say you bought some food?

I'm sure there could be a warm hole crafted for those people somewhere in the Antarctic where they could stay in on the computer all day.

If celebrating life requires you to alter your state of mind in order to enjoy it, then you really don't have anything to celebrate. Miserably delusional.

Yet you take the time to try and explain that on the Siccness.... :-\

I'm bored at work without the possibility of chilling at La Jolla in any kind of reasonable future.

Go work up your post count in some other thread.

i dont have a reason to argue, therefore your want to argue back and forth with me is cut short. if you think that you "won" because of that, great.

i will continue to blow kush and drink alcohol on my day off underneath a cloudless sky and listen to the new planet asia

and if i WANT TO go to the beach, i'll get in my car and drive 1.5 miles east.
