The show was pretty damn awesome, the first two bands kind of sucked musically, well the first band (special kids) had a crippled kid that was killing it on the keyboard and the guitar (that he had to play on his lap because he couldn't walk) and the second band had three super hot chicks and I'm 99% sure it was the dude from the movie Eurotrip, the blonde guy. Ariel Pink was fucking amazing though. They played for over an hour, they sounded great, couldn't really ask for more. I'll definitely be going back to see them in September.

Caught a badass show last night. Hunab Ku, it was their last show with guitarist Luke Jaeger (sleep terror, acrophase, world under blood). Got some good video though, peep shit. All but the first are in HD.

Just saw the Beach Fossils here at the Capital Hill Block Party. At the end of their set they smashed their guitars, I swooped up the lead singers guitar. I even got a video of it, stand by for pics and videos, super stoked.

Beach Fossils

Got video of 7 of their songs. Like I said before, they smashed their guitars at the end of their last song and I picked up guitarist/vocalist Dustin Payseur's guitar body. Here's the video, of them smashing their shit.

Real Estate

I was bummed to find out that guitarist Matt Mondanile (Ducktails, Parasails, Predator Vision) couldn't make it because he was doing an east coast tour with Ducktails, but guitarist Evan Brody (Family Portrait) would be taking his place. I got video of every song they played including two new songs that will be coming out on a 7 inch that's supposed to be coming out in the very near future.




Black Breath

Super intense Seattle metal band. Kind of weird seeing them on a stage in the sun, but it was totally bad ass. Video is kind of shaky because everybody was going nuts around me. Only got 2 videos of them, was too busy rocking out. GREAT FUCKING BAND!




Steel Tigers of Death

Didn't know about these guys before the day started but my brother in law told me I had to go see them. Man, was I sure glad I did. They came out in bunny suits and played a couple songs (which were pretty fast punk type stuff, totally bad ass), then they took off their suits and played in like gold booty shorts with lights wrapped all around them. Pretty fucking sweet.
