its not nabbys fault really, more of the defensemen.. he's not trusting his D so he doesnt really come out and make plays, we need to stop being afraid of checking/hitting infront of the net. We also lost some of our speed with torrey mitchell being out.

I did like how during tonights shootout he waited out instead of coming out then going back in.

YEAH THATS TRUE.

i just happen to turn the game at the beginning which i dont usually do and that was as crazy of a first period as it gets. I couldnt believe how dominant they were in the shootout also, they were like the worst team in shootout the past 1 or 2 seasons.

yeah.. McLellan is more aggressive on both sides of the puck.. more shooting from the blue line.... something Ron Wilson didnt really emphasize. We have alot of shots on goal and face offs won.. the only thing left to work on is getting infront of the net.. i noticed when shots trickle away from the net no one is there to make a play.

"BlackArmor" to be Unveiled on November 21 Sharks and Seagate will unveil the Sharks third jersey on SJSHARKS.com

– The San Jose Sharks and Seagate, the world leader in storage solutions, will unveil “BlackArmor”, the Sharks RbK third jersey for 2008-09, right here on SJSHARKS.com on Friday, November 21 at 10:00 a.m. announced Malcolm Bordelon, Executive Vice President of Business Operations for the Sharks, and Bill Watkins, CEO of Seagate Technology.

SJSHARKS.com will feature a countdown to the debut for 30 days and fans can pre-order their “BlackArmor” online or at the Sharks Store. The Sharks will wear their “BlackArmor” for the first time against Washington on Saturday, Nov. 22 at 7:30 p.m. at HP Pavilion. “BlackArmor” will be worn during the following 14 games, which include 12 home dates, during the season:

“BlackArmor” Nights:
Nov. 22 vs. Washington
Jan. 29 vs. Phoenix
Nov. 26 vs. Chicago
Feb. 5 vs. Carolina
Dec. 2 vs. Toronto
Feb. 19 vs. Los Angeles
Dec. 4 vs. Columbus
March 5 vs. Minnesota
Dec. 11 vs. Anaheim
March 19 vs. Nashville
Jan. 15 vs. Calgary
April 5 at Anaheim
Jan. 27 at Colorado
April 9 vs. Phoenix

This marks the 12th season that the Sharks and Seagate have been partners. The presenting sponsorship of the “BlackArmor” nights will increase the company’s involvement with the team, which already includes the Seagate “Sharks Player of the Month” and the Seagate “Sharks Player of the Year”.

The branding of the alternate sweater coincides with Seagate’s promotion of its BlackArmor™ product, the world’s first safe portable hard drive. BlackArmor™ from Seagate is a storage solution that provides government-grade encryption certified by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), to protect against unauthorized access to your valuable and private information. The BlackArmor product also puts all security keys and cryptographic operations within the device, delivering stronger protection against hacking and tampering than traditional software alternatives.

“Seagate has been an amazing partner over the years and we are very excited that they decided to further enhance their relationship through this unique co-branding opportunity,” said Bordelon. “It is a distinctive concept and I am confident that our fan base, and those watching around the NHL, will love the look on our ‘BlackArmor’ nights.”

“Seagate and the San Jose Sharks are two winning teams, and the BlackArmor promotion is a great branding opportunity for both organizations that I think fans will enjoy,” said Bill Watkins. “The new BlackArmor jerseys look really cool, and our BlackArmor portable hard drive is like having Nabby saving you from hackers taking shots at your valuable content and personal information.”
