And that didn't exactly catapult him to the top of Hollywood.

My point is, without wrestling he would have never had a chance to make the movies he is currently making because nobody would even know who the hell he is. I understand that Hollywood won't take him seriously if he's still wrestling, but Hollywood would have never even heard of Dwayne Johnson if it wasn't for his wrestling career. And as we speak, he is nowhere near the top of Hollywood and I don't think he ever will be, so coming home to WWE now and then is not going to hurt his acting career.
If he's to do another WWE Program for WrestleMania or something again.. They are going to probably have to pay him movie money. Like 10 million for a two month stint on shows and the leadup to the PPV.

I don't think it'd really hurt his career, though, honestly, since he is most popular with kids and stuff nowadays, and he's not really ever gonna be an Oscar winning actor.

I think $10 million is twice as much as he gets paid to do the movies he's done. For some reason I remember reading he was paid $3-5 million for one of the movies (I think it was The Gameplan) and that's the most he's made.

Either way, it might be worth it for Vince McMahon because The Rock would definitely bring back a hell of a lot of old viewers. I don't care what anyone says, if Vince were to offer enough money, The Rock would be back in WWE.

no Miami anytime soon, and from the sound of it he'll (hopefully) be hosting sometime in the next month / month & a half... closest is:

WWE presents Monday Night Raw - Jacksonville, Fla. 8:15 p.m. October 19th

I think Vince bringing Rock back for a few months leading up to (most likely) Wrestlemania would be the smartest move he's made in a LONG time... I aint countin on it happening tho..

He just made an Indy appearance. Reportedly, he was not pleased with the way WWE let his contract run out in 2004, add to the fact the Wrestlemania he did that tag match with Foley against Evolution he wanted to do a match with Macho Man, it adds up.
Maybe if he didn't flat out say he was using his WWE career to become the next Arnold Shwartsawhatever, they would have treated him a little more nicely. He came off as manipulative to me because of that.

I'm glad he did most of his spots on the mic, although he missed the millions (and millions) spot which was always my fav. That's some fanboy shit I just said, but...

And ya know what? Fuck him for saying "fuck you" to wrestling, but I'd still like to have a beer with the dude. He seems like a sit-down humble muhfucker that you could share a laugh with.

he's not really ever gonna be an Oscar winning actor.
I think he could if he'd pick a correct role and stop going for Disney dollars. He's not a bad actor at all. He just hasn't made a movie worth shit, although I did love Walking Tall/

I HOPE THEY START A FUED BETWEEN THE ROCK AND JOHN CENA
I sometimes wonder if you're a 12 year old that has a somewhat decent knowledge of wrestling. Why do you love every lame ass face that they put on the screen? If the Rock and Cena fought, it would go like this:

::Cena goes for the Irish whip to the corner after the lockup, reversal, Cena steps out of the corner, Rock shoulder blocks, goes for an early People's Elbow (crowd pop), Cena kicks up while Rock runs the ropes, spinebuster on Rock, then Cena takes off his little armband thing and throws it into the crowd (crowd pop), Rock gets up pretty much immediately, they bump foreheads because Rock is pissed he just stole his spot, kick to stomach from Cena, whip to the ropes, Cena clothesline, STFU, Rock gets to the ropes, Cena walks around the ring in "wtf just happened" style, stomping the mat and questioning the ref, Rock kicks up like HBK, Cena goes for the Attitude Adjustment after a kick to Rocks gut, Rocky drops off of his shoulders behind him, pushes him into the ropes, german suplex... Rock takes his shit off his elbow (rowd pop), throws it into the crowd, goes rope to rope, drops the elbow, Cena kicks out (surprise!), Rock is surprised, so then goes for the sharpshooter, locks it for a min, Cena goes to the ropes, gets pulled back to the center of the ring, then a random dude's music plays (Stone Cold or Mankind perhaps?), distracts the Rock, Cena gets up, kick to the stomach, Attitude Adjustment for the win, and end::

WTF are you talking about dude? All I've ever seen from you in this forum is "John Cena is the shit... Undertaker is the shit... Any face on the screen is the shit". Sorry when I have an opinion I have a fuckin' clue what I'm talking about to back it up. My bad.

Also, the Rock is a bitch. If you took away his mic he'd only have 7 moves just like every other face you love so much.

Tssssssss haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, trick.

Edit: And how are you a loser if you are knowledgeable about the history of something? Would I be a loser if I was a mechanic and could rebuild your fuckin' engine? Hey whatever man, stay classy, toughguy. You keep being cool and not "technical" about shit.

it actually wouldnt be bad seeing Cena vs the Rock, just to see people boo the fuck out of him like they did in his match against RVD at One Night Stand....but there are other matches way ahead of that one on my list that i'd like to see Rock wrestle in. Not happening though.
