can you elaborate on this for me please?

Faith the size of a Mustard seed? I have met some people with some very strong faith in my life. How do we measure size in faith? Especially with a mustard seed as a measuring rod?

I am really trying to understand you here, not trash talk.

This is a nice way of saying^^^^^^

I REALLY DO KNOW WHAT THE FUCK I AM TALKING ABOUT!
good to see you are entering in a discussion rather than shit talking, im proud of you, no sarcasm, lol

basically whats its saying, is even the strongest people we see in terms of faith, do not posses faith the size of a mustard seed. faith is often misinterpreted as just believing in god, and jesus and what not, but its much more, it following their guide, and really searching with everything that is you for god, and his guidance. so therefor your measure of faith is only known by you and god. once you embrace this level of faith, you can do things that are extraordinary. my mom has been healed after people prayed for her, for example, and i had a room mate that was completely against god, but he even has been healed when prayed for, he came up with some theory for it, and didnt credit god, but still.

and what stockton is referring to in his questions is this

a blind man in this sense is a man that will not open his eyes and try to see god, makes no attempt, and shows no interest in seeing god. how are you going to show him a visual of god? why would you waste your time? that man first must make an attempt to see what your about to show him, or at least have interest. its like those pictures where u circle the hidden item, if you just glance at the picture, and dont really look, you dont see hidden items at all.

Would you want to live under the subjection of a women?
Would you want them to dictate your life?
Would you want your wife to be the head of the relationship?
Would you rather where the skirt or the pants?
Do you like a loud mouth women who will constantly argue, or a quiet and modest women who knows when to speak when she should?
Do kings Lead nations or queens? the UK is an exception LOL, Generally and Historically speaking? OH yeah I forgot Egypt was under female rule.

"women who try to be equal with men, lack ambition."

The part I have a problem with is that people have literally died for acknowledging Jesus/God, etc.....and this would only tell me or anyone else that they have MAJOR faith. I mean if you are willing to die for it.

But I have never seen them move a mountain and being that a mustard seed is actually very small....I am sure their faith is much much bigger than that seed!

you know?

^ i see what your saying, but no action can show faith through my understanding. fear and faith are totally different, wonder if those people thought they were gonna die anyways, and just didnt wanna go to hell. i dont know, i cant judge them. maybe the mountain is metaphorical, ive heard the word mountain used as a metaphor for obstacle, so i dunno. maybe death isnt a big sacrifice, being that according to this theory it delivers you into paradise.

Ok, fine, I see your point, but in the bible Jesus says that you have to acknowledge him infront of people in order for him to acknowledge you to his father (GOD).

So this would tell me that it is 1 example of you showing your faith, yet, it does not say.

I dont know, I just have a hard time understanding that argument.

I disagree though about death not being a "big" sacrafice. The bible talks about death being one of the biggest sacrafices. I mean check out the story of Abraham, God wanted him to sacrafice (kill) his son.

I just do not think the bible does a good job of explaining how to measure faith. But I am sure others think otherwise.....
Yet, I have seen no mountains move, people grow back arms, retarded become typical self thinking individuals, or the death get risen.....

I know you said your mom was healed. No disrespect, but what did she get healed from? something we can not see or something we can see?

i see what your saying, and i agree the bible doesnt explain very well how to measure faith. maybe you can ask god, i will do the same.

and about death not being a big sacrifice, that was just a possibility i was tossing around, i dont believe thats the case, im just bringing up possibilities. and with the abraham story, he was asked to kill his son. therefor the sacrifice would be killing probably the thing he loved most on earth in cold blood, because god told him to. this is actually a good example of having tremendous faith. most people these days wouldnt give up 50 dollars for god, and this man is willing to give up his son. yet i dont recall him moving mountains, so maybe these mountains are metaphorical.

and my mom had shoulder surgery, because she ruined her rotators cuff, and could barely move it. she wasnt expected to get a whole lot of movement back, but after some prayer, all the pain from the surgery went away, and she got almost full movement in it, and in a short amount of time. her docter even now will suggest that she goes and gts prayed for when things go wrong, because she cant explain how my mom got that much movement that quickly. and i know what your thinking, but no her docter isnt religious in the slightest.

also, my grandma went in for a check up, and they found a spot on her lung that seemed cancerous. so my moms called all her friends and had them all pray, and my grandma went back in, for her second appointment, so the docters could further examine this spot, and they literally couldnt find it. im no docter, so i dont know if there is a loophole here, i wont say there isnt, but this seems unexplainable to me

^^^and that is exactly what I am trying to say.

When I hear stories of people being healed it is always something internal. Something the eye's have not seen. And I am talking big things.......

But we will just have to agree to disagree..
