Rules for future graf battle.
1) Everyone uses the exact same media. (paint, pencil, pen, etc etc)
2) You are assigned specific colors. We will MAKE SURE you have the colors ahead of time, so there is NO UNFAIR ADVANTAGE OR BIAS OF COLOR. If you venture out of, disqualification, dont bitch about it.
3) characters will either be mandatory, with a specific topic, or not involved.
4) no bubbles/and or boxes used for letters (shortcutting)
5) everyone uses the same letter-word (like before)
6) points will be taken off for any letter that i or anyone else can find a picture of, in someone elses graffiti. (style biting)
7) participants are to have no communication with judges during competition about the graf.
8) everyone turns the piece in on the same day, in the same hour. if there are people who are international, we will figure out the exact time for you to post yours. you have an hour to show up and post it, if you dont, youre disqualified. this makes sure theres no one who tried to extra work on theirs with a exscuse.
9) if unreadable (abstract) there has to be visual proof that the letter, is actually a letter.
10) no excessive talking as a contestant after your work is shown (what person competes, then during judging, talks on and on?) we need to be able to vote WITHOUT the contestants input or opinion on the other contestants shit...
11) background will either be allowed or not allowed. highlighting, outlining, double outlining, etc will be called before hand.
12) in the chance that there is a tie, we will go to sudden death. whoever the third person whom posted after s sudden death is mentioned, you must draw that persons name, black and white, throw up style with background shadow on the letters. the quickest person to do this, and post the pic in the thread wins.
edit* no disrespect kon but ive been writing for 19 years of my life. i just dont think its fair. im kinda in my own lane, im not saying im better than everyone, im just far more experienced. id rather just judge, i dont feel i have to prove myself at all. i just wanna draw when i want to, ya feel me? i just rather not. maybe later, but not right now man...i seriously gotta finish some personal work and doing work for a competition when im not doing work that would get me bread, ass backwards
