no theyre just better than you gave them credit for. so do you still think it was a bad move trading our "future" for our current success? we're only going to get better because of the leadership and experience the big 3 bring. that goes for all the new cats we bring in. im sorry but al jefferson and gerald green werent gonna get it done. not for years and many more lottery picks, especially considering pierce would have done the smart thing and bailed. which would have happened no later than the end of this season.

I dont know I have had my team trade away legit players to throw together a championship quality team that is a contender for just 2 or 3 years... its cool while it happens, but its not worth it after watchin my blazers rebuild and other teams like the spurs do it with draft picks, not trades... Its my opinion, please just deal with it(feels more 'fucks' and 'faggots' coming from phil, lol) I like how you value my opinion so much tho...

matter of fact the spurs got two of the most dominant big men of all time which is key to winning a championship in this league. its been 10 or 11 years since a team without shaq or duncan has won a championship with the exception of detroit which happens to be a team of san antonios build.

nevermind. you dont get it. pierce would have been GONE. we didnt have shit on our roster besides al jefferson. rondo is benefitting in a way he never would had this trade not been made. he wouldnt be doing as well as he has if we had the same roster.

what legit players did we trade away besides al jefferson thats what im askin fucks and faggots lol
Ryan Gomes and Derrick Rose/Michael Beasley and Jeff Green. Make no mistake, the Celtics made a great short term move by bringing in Allen and Garnett, but after their window closes, you have another 5-6 years of rebuliding to look forward to. Had the Cletics not traded all the youth and draft picks away that they did, they would have been looking at rebuiling for about another year before they became a legit force in the East for many years. I'm not hating at all, but long term the Celts would have been better off continuing their rebuilding process, losing Pierce and firing Danny Ainge.

Brandon Roy is not 6'6". He'd be lucky to be 6'4".

And the Blazers got a half a game up on the Warriors. Hopefully they can keep playing like this through the season are in the hunt in April too.

Even if Pierce left you would still have a core of
Rondo, Jeff Green, Al Jefferson, Beasley/Rose/Mayo, and another lottery pick depending on how bad Minnesota would have been this year (they were trading KG no matter what and Boston had their pick this year and traded it back to them). After that all they would have had to do is let the team gel.

edit:eek:k maybe not ONE year. (I was loaded) but maybe 2 or 3.

loaded aint the word. 2 or 3 years is 5 years too many. boston needed to win years ago. not years away. you would have to be a fan to understand. you will NEVER meet a boston fan that was against this move. NOT 1 REAL ONE ANYWAYS.
