Why did Negredo start ahead of Torres? This dude has been shit. Torres was rested, I'm thinking it was a tactical move but it hasn't paid off. More mind boggling shit..

Normally they set up who shoots in what position before it starts. I guess Ronaldo was number 5...

And the game wasn't very good. The first half was pretty bad.

best takers go 1st and 5th, they were really hoping he would do his job and convert.

regardless it's a lucky dip for the most part, Portugal were unlucky and atlest made an effort in attack. Spain considering the quality of the side, played very negative with 6 mids.

I hope football doesn't get reduced to this..

Portugal played well, but saying they got unlucky and Spain got lucky I disagree with. You gotta make your pks...and.Spain had plenty of opportunities to score during the game themselves. People get used to seeing them dominate and when they don't have 70% possession they play "bad" and only win by luck. Give credit to portugal for playing them so well, but the better team won at the end of the day...

Mario Balotelli is a beast, I think he gets overlooked a lot because of his attitude.

Spain vs Italy.

Hopefully Spain plays more interesting then passing it the middle field with hopes of a break for 90 minutes.

Everyone underestimated Italy cuz of how shitty they were in the last Euro and World Cup. They aint really playing defensive which is what there known for which is what has impressed me so much. I gotta believe Spain is worried, Italy really has nothing to lose and they already played well against them in the first round

I want all American announcers removed from soccer previews and halftime reports minus Bob Levy because untill America gets competitive in the sport what is the point? Id rather hear from the greats accent or not worse case just use people from the UK

All I can say is:

Spain killed Italy, even though Italy beat Germany. I think Germany vs Spain would of been a closer game. That's the joy of tourny's though, anything can happen.

and at least Portugal didn't lose 4-0... In my mind Portugal placed 2.5th place haha

lol, they didnt cheat to get to the finals in the Euro Cup and thats all that matters. Pretty fucked up Italy had to play Spain twice but whatever Italy will still be ranked higher then most teams not named Spain, hate that!!!!!
