Think about how many games this season we've lost by 1 run? Or how about we we're whooping the Dfags asses with ease earlier this season? We have the best pitching in baseball, but the worst offense in baseball as well and losing our 2 BEST hitters was a killer blow. Our pitchers have been pitching through insane stress knowing if they give up 1 run they have a good chance of losing the game . 10 starts for Timmy where we scored 0 runs.... Dude, we would of easily won this division. Are people forgetting how good our pitching has been this season? The fact that we were even this close this late without our best hitters is pretty remarkable. Timmy, Cain, Madbum > *

Padres suck, Dodgers are broke, Rockies suck and Dfags are good but we own them with a healthy team. Giants win the west if everyone stays healthy next year. BOOK IT!
regardless of all the injuries n shit throughout the season, i still think we need help on offense next yr... thats why i say idk if it would have been easily won by us this yr.. last year we had timely hitting, bats got hot at the right time... this yr has been pretty much the opposite... prior to getting swept by cincy we looked like a totally different ballclub.. since then we had no swag... todays game was great, but the inconsistency of the offense killed us this yr... look how many starters have thrown gems and got little to no run support... fuckin sucks breh, im frustrated like everyone else... but look forward to what goin to unfold next season... just bein realistic

Cain was our first homegrown pitcher in a long time that actually could be an Ace if Lincecum wasnt on our team.. he's younger and has more years with the Giants, he bleeds orange and black too, more than anyone i've seen. He'll talk shit to Dodgers players any players.. he even openly hates the dodgers.

He will extend, mark my words. Only way he doesnt is if the Giants let him walk.

Are you his agent?

Don't get me wrong, I want him to. But i see him doin the lebron... Without the hoopla... He has to be tired of leading the league in least run support every year.

Money does talk, but what makes you think the Giants won't offer him a fuck ton of money? Giants are raking in the dough with all these sold out games, $9 beers and $15 panda hats. Plus I was listening on knbr that the stadium will be paid off in a couple years and they will be able to spend even more money. The thing that worries me the most and I think could be a reason we lose Cain/Timmy is Sabean and the management. If Sabean and the management don't prove to these guys that they are willing to bring some help in the form of REAL hitters I could see our guys leaving to a another team where they will get plenty of run support. I have no doubt the Giants can match most offers that will be tossed at these guys, but will they bring in the players that this offense needs to get Timmy and Cain to be 20 game winners like they should be is the question.

Matt Cain is a southern boy and will be in an Atlanta Brave uniform the instant the Giants dont have control over him any more. Bet that.

This off season we have to do something major!!!!!!!!! This will be our last year with all of our pitchers under control i think. So yeah we need to make a few splashes in free agency if we intend on competing next year.

If every player wanted to go play at home only guys we'd eventually have left are schierholtz, Crawford, Burrell and Christian. I'm pretty sure Cain likes sf, the park and the organization. I'm confident he'll be extended this offseason.
