Quick updates from the Bochy pre-game …

Freddy Sanchez is done for 2011. He’ll have labrum surgery Tuesday and the Giants expect him to be ready for spring training. Sanchez was swinging the bat OK but was having throwing problems. Hence, the decision to do it now.

Bochy said he has something for us on Barry Zito but needs to talk to Barry first. Announcement could come after the game or Tuesday. Speculate all you want. Since Jonathan Sanchez will start Friday and needs to be placed back on the roster, something has to give.

Zack Wheeler gave up three runs in the first inning of his debut with the Class A St. Lucie Mets, but has settled down a bit since. Allowed 4 runs through 4.

Giants manager Bruce Bochy told the Associated Press before Monday's game that Barry Zito will be placed on the disabled list.
And there's the move to make room for Jonathan Sanchez. No description of the injury was provided, but Zito went on the disabled list earlier this season with a sprained right foot.

Things should start picking up in the next 4-5 games though..right now they need to win the next 2 games..

FUCK THE DIAMONDBACKS!! those punks dugout were yelling out "Mollywhoppin" in the 9th inning. We better take this fucken division. Don't want the Giants to turn into an embarrassment like the Dodgers and A's.
