Another extra innings game this time we pulled out the win thank god lol. I hope we take this series against the Angels that'd show a lot of character to take the series after losing a 16inning 5 1/2 hour game.

Considering the previous two games totaled 28 innings, and considering he was the freshest and also the best closer available, and this was a big chance to seal the win and take the series; the move was good.

Can't be mad at rodney or his minor league antics, this was only his third blown save of the year.

Actually looking at the stats maurer didn't pitch much, he shouldve been fresh. Maybe lloyd and maurer know something we don't.

Ah well, rodney is going to be a jackass and might blow some games, no way around it. This wasn't an ideal series coming out of the all star break at all. Our obscene lack of offense has reared its head in a monstrous way. We relied entirely too much on the bullpen this series and this is the result

Smoak back down, Erasmo back up. So he just swapped shit for shit. How this team is 8 games over .500 is beyond my mental capacity.

We are also now 2nd in the AL in defense...we were first 3 games ago.

We're good. But we need a good DH / occasional 1b bat so fuckin bad. And with the a's and angels being so good this year I wonder if theyll even gamble on grabbing a bat just for a shot at winning the one game wild card. We'll know soon enough... trade deadline is closing in fast
